Would it be possible next year to coordinate the versions read and the versions shown? Some translations are very different. Also the transcript for Brian's remarks doesn't always show up daily (I am on the west coast). Thank you for your ministry and love you demonstrate.

I might be totally wrong here, but I think most of the version can be found at biblegateway.com so if you are like me and have a ton of bible version's in bible programs but just don't happen to have "the Holman" or "Today's NIV" they might be at Bible gateway.com and so you can folow along there..... I find that I retain the readings and Brians expository much better if I have read the same words He did..... It is a tremendous blessing to be able to have this service, I have tried so many times to get through the bible on my own, now com next July I think I will hav emade it, with much greater understanding....

So that everyone knows, we have to understand that awalkthroughtheword was lovingly created and is kept up by Chet our faithful lifesaver around here. It's not his day gig. I did talk to Chet last week and he is planning to support awalkthroughtheword in 2010 so that's great news for the DAB community. Chet and I coordinate on translations and awalkthroughthework looks them up if they exist on biblegateway. If I read something the biblegateway doesn't have then awalkthroughthework has to substitute.

The transcriptions are done by Tamarie who also took it upon herself as a ministry to the community here to transcribe what is said at the end of the podcast each day. That is such a huge undertaking for a person.

We really need to celebrate both of these people. Without them neither one of those functions would even exist at the DAB. They're heroes of mine.

Blessings
Brian

Brian,
Would you be able to post the order of bible versions in which you're reading from? :) In this case, maybe we all can figure something else out. It would also be awesome if you could post the reading plan for the year. The one that's currently on the website doesn't match what you're reading (most of the time). We all love and appreciate the work Chet is doing (thank you, Chet-darling!!!), but we can help ourselves (if we have the order of bible versions and the daily reading plan) when or if awalkthroughtheword site is not matching to what you're reading :)

Thank you!
