God in Pledge of Allegiance

Last week i heard on the News a case in Court about removing the Word "God" from the Pledge of Allegiance, and also from currency and coins. This really disturbed me a lot because i have seen first hand the effects of a Nation ditching God. I prayed seriously about it and still not getting the peace i usually experience after telling God about what i am going through, the Holy Spirit compelled me to lead in Prayer at the WindFarm, which i did on Friday. I Just got the result of the ruling this morning and i am delighted beyond measure that the Circuit Court of Appeal in San Francisco, a Federal Appeal Court has ruled in FAVOR of saying "God" in the Pledge of Allegiance and on US currency and Coins. It gets really interesting because this court is one of the most liberal courts in the country and i learnt that just eight (8) years ago, it ruled against the wordings of the Pledge but now the court is saying that it "serves to unite our vast nation" I am tremendously happy because despite the devil seriously trying to wrestle this great country from the consciousness of God (Read Romans 1:28), God is still showing himself mighty and i believe that a large part is due to the continous prayer of the people of God. Let us not be ignorant of the devices of the devil. We need to be more vigilant and watchful as our enemy roars and seek whom to devour, but the word of God has promised that he will raise up a standard against the enemy. I am grateful to God for this victory but i know the battle continues.

i am in unity with your perceptions. Thank God he made an army of strong servants who unceasingly pray for incessant discipleship of our Lord God. Thank you for sharing this purposeful transition. God bless'

This is so refreshing to hear. You get so used to hearing court rulings that seem to have the total removal of God from everything considered public, as their goal. I agree that the Pledge of Allegiance does unite the nation and it is just such a fundamental core belief. I still remember saying the pledge every morning in school and while prayer in school was long gone by the time I arrived, to have the reminder everyday that we are "under God" is just so important.
