I read it and found it very interesting. There are too many things that couldn't have been coincidence. As for what it all means, I'm not sure. But I would agree that our nations have been falling away from God and are prideful, and wouldn't be surprised if God is sending warnings to us through various means. It's been a while since I read the book, so I don't remember the details now.
