iPhone APP discussion
question about android app and picking up where I left off in daily listen
I am a newly switched android user, galaxy note 4. Love it. However iPhone always picked back up where I left off unless I killed cache. Why is my galaxy starting over every time I return to it. Even if signal causes loss, it takes me to main page and starts From beginning

Hi, Firstly I would like to say, I just love listening to DAB, it is such a blessing.
In saying that I too find it very frustrating that one can't pause the audio on the app and return to it later. It always goes back to the beginning. One has to finish the daily audio reading before one can use the phone for anything else.

Podcasts are addicting. This is a fact that I’m sure Google had in mind when they created Google Listen, their latest Android Labs addition. Though touted as an audio search engine, its included features more closely mimic a standard podcast client. With tools to discover, subscribe, download, and listen to your internet audio all in one app

It's possible that the apps you're using on your Galaxy Note 4 aren't optimized to remember your last location or state when you shut them down. This behavior may vary depending on the application, and some applications may not be able to continue from where you left off.
You can try to find an application that supports the "save state" or "resume" feature at the support software on the website https://modtodays.com/. Alternatively, you can try clearing the cache and data of the apps you're using to see if that fixes the problem.
