Being Able to Edit One's Own Posts

I really miss the ability to edit my posts, should I have a change of heart, need to add something, or find a misspelling. I also miss the ability to delete one of my posts!
I loved the fact that on the old forums, we could tell why we edited in a little box at the bottom! Sometimes the reasons given were hilarious and would make me laugh out loud. *smiles* Made me feel closer to my brothers and sisters in that moment.
Is there any way we could get this back? I've just posted again when I've realized I've left something out, or cringed when I see a gross grammatical or spelling error on my part (credit it to having a mother with a Minor in English Grammar!), or hoped and prayed that something I've posted and had a change of heart about will be used to God's glory...and will continue to do so...but would love to have those abilities back!

We want EDIT options or we will all.......lets see what will we do...........?
Go on a hunger strike? Or Stop doing something that Brian wants us to do...
Or stop posting on DAB.....OR stop shopping at Wal-Mart Or......Bang our
heads aginst a wall Or...........anyway we'll think of some I'm sure. LOL

We simply do not have the ability to edit our own posts right now. It's on the list but the mods definitely can block stuff that is innapropriate.
