Praise

Carly is a Miracle baby.
My brother-in-laws sister was pregnant with a baby diagnosed with a terminal disease called tricemy 18(sp?). basically what happens usually is that the organs do not develop in the womb and the normal pregnancy ends in miss-carriage or if they are born, they are still born. doctors often recommend that the mother has an abortion. even though Danielle and her family are not Christian, they still couldn't accept having that procedure. (praise God) they knew that they would go through much pain and suffering by having the baby, but that was their choice. Carly was born 3 days ago. just being born alive put her in the 95th percentile for her condition. the doctors were amazed but still only gave little carly 3 days max. she has beat that and is scheduled to go home tomorrow. they will still have a feeding tube and a hospice nurse will be on duty for her, but now they are talking about giving her a month to live. this still sounds like too short a time, but every minute of carly's life is looked at as a gift from God for the whole family. we are praying for this miracle to continue as long as God will allow it, but we all understand that He is in control and everyone is at peace with that. keep praying for carly and her family. we hope that carly will be the key to winning the whole family for Christ. and what a power testimony she will be. Praise God for all He does and His everlasting goodness.

i was hoping to have a first hand account to update you all with, but that hasn't happened yet so i thought i should post something. Carly may infact be the amazing person that God uses to bring her entire family to Christ. my brother-in-law, Jack, gave testimony in church this Sunday giving God all the credit and thanking everyone for their prayers. this would have been absurd for him several years ago. the dominate thinking in his family is that religious people are nice, but are silly to put their faith in something that isn't provable. now he and his family are recognizing the hand of God in their lives. Carly is still about the same. she has a feeding tube, they still don't give her more than a few more weeks at best, but the family looks at everyday as a gift from God. please pray that we, the body of Christ around this family, can use this moment to the Glory of God and allow the Holy Spirit to use us to bring this group of beautiful people into the family of God.

Praise God for the miracle of turning stone hearts to living hearts. This is no small thing especially with a very sick newborn. Praying for Carly and the whole family.
