Trying to write a resume

I'm trying to write my resume for a job fair on Wednesday and Thursday. I desperately need a job. But right now I feel so hopeless. I know God is in control and I'm trying to trust Him. Please pray God will help me and bring people into my life to hire or help me. Right now I don't even know what kind of job to apply for. I've been a substitute teacher for 20 years and have to leave that feild and start somewhere else.

Elaine, you sound so discouraged, hug! I will be praying for you, for sure.... that you would have a sense of hope and joy and optimism in your life, and that a job would find you! One that is meant for you. On a different note, if you place this request in the prayer forum you will recieve much more notice and prayer as that is where people go to pray and be prayed for. Post it there as well as here cuz I don't want your request to get missed.

You're asking for encouragement, not for an advice, but the title of your post called my attention: Are you "trying" to write a résumé?
I am kind of reading between lines that you are afraid for having 20 years of teaching experience behind, maybe I'm wrong. If this is it, I relate to you on this as I had a career change and it was RRRRREALLY difficult to write my résumé. God has showed me something: There is no piece of experience that HE cannot use in ANY field. I'll pray that you find comfort in Him and the perfect words to write your résumé AND the cover letters.
