Wonderful, Sara,

I am encouraged by your sharing that YOU were encouraged. Miles span across the lives of we DABbers, but the heart makes no note of them, amen? :-)

It is wonderful to see that you "have invited a lot of friends to come and spend the day with us on Thanks Giving. That helps us a lot." May God richly bless your time together with these friends. May God break open floodgates of goodness in your life, and in your new steps through the counseling. May the Spirit reach and touch Laura's inner-being, and draw her close.

As someone who has also experienced loss (albeit of a different relational end; the brothers and sisters who've responded here have been through many things), let me say that it is good to see you take these steps in your healing, Sara. If you should so wish to, tell us more about it all, if you can. You've mentioned a few new insights in your posts here; and if you feel led to, it can be helpful to share them with safe people. Please only do so as you are led by the Spirit: don't do it because I said so; yet if you would like, we on this thread can walk with you through what still grieves your heart.

Praying with you,

Tom :-)

Sara, I am praying for you and Laura today. I pray that you be revived with great hope and joy--the hope that we receive through Jesus. I pray that you see our Lord, who is close by you at all times, and that you feel that closeness and warmth in your life always.

I want to thank all of you for praying for me, and my family.

I feel like there are obstacles in my life, that keep me from moving forward. Sometimes I think, Maybe I Should... Then I think, or maybe I should...
I am stuck inside a box called "maybe I should." I confess I do not like to make decisions. That is my personality. Now, all decisions are up to me. That is a scary place to be, when you do not like being the one to make all the decisions. I have to decide. The good news is I am not alone. God is always with me. I am never alone. Though sometimes I feel alone. I know that when I am weak, He is strong. God is faithful to strengthen me.

Blessings to you all. Thanks for praying.

I want to thank you for your prayers, and give God the praise for His victory in our lives. Your prayers have made a huge difference for us.

I have five children, but only two or three left at home. I would appreciate your prayers for them. I have many concerns.

Update on our prayer needs:
1. Financial:
I need direction, and probably some kind of job training, and maybe I need to start my own business too. I need victory over fear, that prevents me from moving forward in this area of my life. I have been a stay at home Mom for 26 years. For that, I am thankful.

2. Pray for my children. For the Lord to prepare their hearts for the plan He has for them, that they would hunger and thirst for the Lord. Pray for God to keep His hand on them. We need victory over the enemy. We are experiencing spiritual warfare, mainly depression, anxiety and fear.
My children need to grow in confidence. They have been through a lot of trauma and need healing as well as deliverance. I know that as they grow in Christ, and come to Him, they will have victory over these things.

I have found a new Christian counselor for Laura. I am praying that she will like her new counselor, and that God will use her to bless and encourage Laura in the faith.

We serve a great and mighty God. Amen.

Thanks for praying!
Sara

Sara;
You have made a courage step, and that is what it is "one step at a time" we are not only hear to pray for you, but like Tom said, to listen and it is so therapeutic just to talk. I have in no way ever endured the pain that you are feeling, but we have all had our troubles, and I have found that just sometimes reading and relating to other people pain, is a help. Please know that you are in my prayers and know that God has a plan for you and your children. You are not alone, you have made the step by acknowleging that you need Gods help through our prayers, which you've got.
I know we will be reading a praise report in the days ahead, from you.
