Lonely,frustrated and need encouragement

On the professional side,my life is doing well. I have a good job with terrific benefits. On the personal side,well,I'm lonely with no one in my life to share experiences with,having to live with my alcoholic mother who is 75 yrs old and tries to help but it way too motherly. I am also trying to save funds to go to Minnesota to see my daughter graduate from nursing school in May and at the same time trying to save to move into my own place to gain my independence back.I understand there is a divine plan; however,being lonely especially this time of year is hard to bear. I am asking the community to pray that God may help in the areas mentioned and to give me strength to get thru the holidays. I ask this with understanding that I know there are individuals out there with way more worse situations than mine and I wouldn't hesitate to help someone who needs it. Thank you.

It's great to meet another Illinois fellow here Dirk. I am praying too for your immediate concerns that you listed. Also for finding new relationships with Christian friends. My wife prays for finding new relationships and God always provides with exceptional results.
How long have you been listening to the DAB? If it's only a short time then you may not know how much of this podcast and web site is built around good relationships. If you have been around for a while, then you know what I am talking about.
