I am praying for Sarah, and also for many others who have been beaten and abused in a variety of ways. I pray for God to protect them and to let them see how valued they are by our Lord.

Sara I pray for you and I know how important it is that we are all supporting you. Please keep us updated and as hard as it is Lord Jesus have mercy on them and I pray that your angels will encamp around them and Lord give them strength and guide them and comfort them. Lord we desperately need your compassion in our hearts, minds and will.

Update on me:
I really appreciate your prayers. I am looking for a job, and a new car. I went to a new Church today. I liked it. I am considering changing Churches, but I am praying for the Lord's direction. I really believe this is His direction for me. Pray for my youngest daughter that she will be willing to switch with me. This Church is actually closer to our house. There is no way that I could take her to the old Church and then turn around and go to this new Church. Another need we have, is for healing. God has done great and mighty things in our lives, but we need the Lord Jesus to strengthen us to move forward. I also signed up for job training. It is for: "Customer Service call center for Banking and Insurance." My classes will start in June. I am praying for God to help me find a job that will be flexible so I can go to school and take my youngest daughter to a summer class she is going to take too.
Update on Sarah: Last week: Sarah left her boyfriend again and went to a shelter for abused women. Cry! Her boyfriend beat her up again, and tried to strangle her. She had bruises all over her neck. It just breaks my heart to see her go through all of this. She is now staying with some friends. She has to appear in court to testify against her boyfriend for felony strangulation. Please pray for her healing, for the Lord to set her free, and for restoration in her life .Thank you for keeping Sarah in your prayers.

Praying for Sarah to be delivered from this cycle of abuse. Sarah went back to her abusive relationship with her boyfriend, and now has two fractures in her face. Her boyfriend is currently in jail. I do not know how long he will be in jail.
Thanks for continuing in prayer for Sarah.

Lord, please protect Sarah. Lead her far from this abusive relationship. Give her confidence and hope, shine brightly in her life so that she is far, far from the darkness.

Update on Sarah: Sarah had surgery on her face a few days ago. Her boyfriend had fractured her face. The surgeon put a steel plate in her face to hold her bones together. Sarah is going into drug treatment on Monday, (Apr.18, 2011) Pray that she will stay through the whole program and get free from drugs, and free from abuse. Sarah said that this facility is going to help her emotionally too. Pray for the Lord to work in her heart, and draw her to Christ. Her boyfriend is in jail, but despite all he has done to her, she hopes to be reunited with him. God have mercy.

Somehow the update hurts more today.
But I continue to pray Sarah. She is my list of daily prayers.
I am thankful that she is getting treatment.

Sarah left this morning, April 18th, for drug treatment. She would like you to pray for her. This is the third time she has entered into a drug treatment program. She hopes this one will work better for her. This program will also help her with emotional issues. She would like to be free from drugs. Sarah said that her emotions and anxiety have prevented her from completing the treatments in the past. Pray for God to bring healing to her emotions and strengthen her, give her peace, and help her to complete this program.
Pray for Sara's boyfriend who is in jail. He is reading his Bible and told Sara he is having nightmares and thinks he is having problems with demons.
