Update:
Sara has been in treatment for 12 days. She said she almost walked away several times. Pray for God to strengthen and help her to get through this. She is making huge progress. She is also in group therapy, and said this is hard as she talks about all of the painful things that have happened to her in the past. Sara told me that despite it being painful to talk about these things, she has found that she feels relieved upon sharing it with the group. Her boyfriend is still in jail. They have asked Sara to testify against her boyfriend, but Sara is afraid to do that. Thank you for remembering Sara in your prayers.

Sara told me she intends to leave drug treatment on Thursday, May 5th. She will continue to see a therapist. She also said she would still return to her boyfriend once he gets out of jail, if he agrees to quit drinking.I am praying for the Lord to help her to make better choices in life and to put Jesus first. Please continue to pray for Sara.

I am praying for Sara. lord, grant her guidance and confidence in herself. Let her see that she is a valued child of God. I pray for her safety.

Update:
Sara left drug treatment early, and did not complete the program. I pray God will strengthen her to remain drug free. I am going to pick Sara up to take her to Church tomorrow, Sunday morning. Sara also told her friend Karen about the Church. Her friend Karen is going to meet us there, at Church tomorrow, morning. Karen needs prayer too. Sara will attend Church with me for two Sundays, then will be moving to Florida with a girl friend, Tara. Tara is also an abuse victim. The plan is for Sara to baby sit for Tara while Tara goes to work. Thanks for continuing in prayer for Sara, Tara and Karen. God is faithful. His grace is sufficient. Blessings to you all!

Praying for Sara, Tara and Karen. I must say I feel bad that Sara did not complete the program though. But I will pray.
