That's great to hear that things improved during your fast. I'm praying for wisdom in this, for both you and your doctor.
illys 01/14/2011 03:08
Thank you, Jake, every drop of prayer is helping, earnestly. Currently I am in danger of a kidney overload if I go off the high healthy-protien diet, and my body can't take any changes in the current patterns.

Both my doctor and endocrinologist are now aware of the change, and my doctor (here at home) is mad at me for stepping forewards with waiting for him to get a base D3 level of the blood. I can't change what has taken place, but please pray for kindness from my doctors through all of this.

With praise and thanksgiving to our Warrior King Jesus, -illys

The body stores up D3 in it's fat deposits, and overload feels like fresh sunburn, an inability to settle down, and a quickened pulse. It is the same as when a person's parathyroid gland comes under attack by a virus.
At D3 overdose it can help to store some of the material in the fat layers about the body by eating white breads and easy sugars.

My dear sister, as much as I do not clearly understand, I'm still with you in prayers. May the Lord be with you, heal you, strengthen you and guide you and your doctors in Jesus name, Amen.
illys 01/26/2011 12:52
Harriet, Thank you very much! The reasoning.. is very mixed up with biochemistry, research from the past 20 years in the Human Genome Project, and recent research on Diabetes of all types. If it works 100% in the next year or two, it's a gift from God, if it's not, then it isn't the work of the Spirit, plain and simple. But I set all my stores up in what's written in the bible, even that the earth is only about 10,000 years old or less, and going full-fire after what God inspires isn't gambling.. it's jumping off a cliff!
Thank you so much for your strong prayer. :)

Hey Illys, that's so fascinating. I was meant to be reading up on some papers for work and got totally sidetracked by your testimony!
Can I ask what job you do? Are you involved in any of the research about D3? If not, there are lots of patient story/research/findings areas you can contact to share. If you put it in your job and I missed it I'm very sorry! Also if you already know all this then ignore me!
I'm in the process of a massive healing as well (I left a reeeally long message that was played on the 17th Jan) and I really understand the need to share what God is doing, plus I'm a nurse/researcher so I also really get wanting people to know about what is good for them. Many prayers for you and your family and all that God is doing in your life.
Anyhoo...back to work, joy!
God bless, Becky xx

Oh, I thought nobody was seeing this topic any more, now that a month has gone by! Thank you so much for replying, Becky. ^^
I'm a web designer/infotech nerd. I had just two years of college, but I've taken the self-study on since then. The amputated arm and the swings in and out of insomnia and depression have taken their toll over the past eight years, but God promises to return in full in his word!
Let's see.. I don't know where the reference is, but there's a king of israel cited in the old testament that did great and loved to follow god's word and the commandments of moses while everything was good, but when he got sick, he went straight to the doctors!
Now that I've tried the way of doctors so much, I'm going to try leaning into the holy spirit now, plain and simple. It's like God lit a match under me after a lot of gas-buildup. Fwoomf! Let's just say I am loving going through my danish bible for the first time this year.. I'm trying to go for 100% of the way through.

I'm in the process of working out a web page for gathering the scientific, alternative-health-treatment info, and scripture from a biblical point of view (with the understanding, unapologetically), that we are 100% made inside and out for a holy-spirit filled life and healing!

If you feel like helping me with the documentation/populating the site, lemme know, ok? Especially if you've been gathering info already. The page is meant to be in danish, but articles in english should be fine too! I sorta need help! But.. uhm.. I'd definately take some time myself in prayer to make sure that taking on helpers and which ones are the right ones. And I'd ask you to do that too. I've -just- started the site itself, and it's set up for multiple users/authors, with translation via google and the ability to post multiple languages without having to use google translate.

Anyways, let me know? A nurse who's already into this stuff would be awesome!

Uhm.. Best way to help reverse alzheimers? Look it up. L-tryptophan, a daily -strong- dose of D3, B-complex-rich foods and good amounts of protien. Whuff!

Helping out diabetes? Strong D3, patience and learning the love of the holy spirit to get rid of stress/emotional burdens, and a healthy diet according to your dietician/endo.

Uhm.. right now..? If anyone has data on the current UVB output levels of the sun against the patterns of the past ten years, I'd like to know!
It's related to Joel, and these articles.

And this, which just.. raises a lot of questions in me concerning rev. 9, the very beginning of it.

Other than that, well.. if we see people in strong neural/muscle pain over several months from this May, or in the next few years, then that's something to take note of! Otherwise it's a simple hoax.

Take care, Becky!

Wotcha, if you want to chat about this more my email is beckyb@muchomail.com or my skype name is beckygarneth (long story!)
I will definately pray about helping, my impulse is to say 'oooo that sounds good, love to help', but wisdom on choices is always a good thing! :D Let me know what you get if/when you've prayed on it.

I can defnately agree that sunlight (look at my grasp of science lol) is a massive help on many health problems. I managed to get over to South Africa a couple of times in the last 4 years and each time my pain eased incredibly. I was still suffering with a bowel disease but not having pains in my arms, legs and joints, or at least less pain but amazing. coming back to England in February (the armpit of months) was such a shock to the system. Quite often in really cold weather I've been totally knocked out and not been able to walk except limping round the house.
Having the healing that God is giving me at the moment is just overwhelming.

Anyway, I'd love to hear more about all you are doing so definately email me or something :D
And now I shall cook dinner, huzzuh!

Wow! Yes, please share how God is working healing in your life. :) Sharing witness and speaking about how good god is is a way of praising him! And praise is really one of the places he is working! It sounds like you are having belly issues and connective tissue issues? It's always been the seasons where I have been stressed and ut of the sunlight that my depressive symptoms and insomnia has been worst. It's like God has allowed me to suffer a bit so that turning my eyes on him when he was ready to reveal His hope... well, suddenly -ALL- I want to look at is him, and not my old self or the world any more! Reading about how moses' face was glowing when coming down from Siani really lit up my heart today. I want to push in to Jesus like that! I love communing with the Spirit and resting with Him.
illys 02/13/2011 04:23
I think it's wise if I make notes of what's going on, for you folk that are still confused over why I'm harping so much about D3. Right now.. I haven't taken a single drop of the stuff except the 5-10 mcg (400 iu) that comes in your standard american vitamin pill. I stopped right away on Jan the 11th because of an admonition from my doctor not to go ahead without treatment without telling them first.

And that part's fine and true enough. The part of me that is sure and walking in the trust that God wants to share healing with me- it's there, strong, rather revelling in prayer and learning more about resting in the Holy spirit. The part of me that has to deal with everyday life here.. well, I'm really, -really- not feeling healthy!

I've been like this on and off since my amputation in 2004. A season here and there of enjoying myself, some days of writing stories and partying, a real love of having friends over and helping other friends, joy in our little church (the building is being torn down tommorrow! God has let it happen, but he wants to teach us to revel in fellowship. Back to our roots, house church meetings at our pastor's house!)

But.. but.. I subscribe to the theory the doctors at vitaminDcouncil.org put forewards- that depression is a precursor to almost all major diseases. And it's true! A lack of sunlight effects the brain first. It's vital to the pineal gland and the rest of the small parts that are at the center of our brains- there's a little 'staff' area where the spinal column connects into the grey matter, where blood brings nutrients directly to the different areas of the brain and the little organs that release hormones sit right in the midst of the bloodflow, so that hormones can be released directly to the bloodstream. The pineal gland is vital to your sleep rhythms and is involved heavily in the production of seretonin.

What does depression look like? It's expressed in several different ways. I babysat my sister-in-law's children last night, and they were showing signs of sleepiness (yawning, etc), at 8:30 while we were in the middle of playing. They usually go to bed at 7:00-8:00, but when I tried to lay in bed with them to sing and tell stories until they fell asleep, they simply couldn't. It was the first time in a long while that they were over with someone to be babysat, and there was just too much nervous energy! They were running around and wrestling with eachother after that, and getting bumps on the head and all. I didn't get mad, even though I did start to feel frustrated. After all, if I'm going through and have gone through so much of the stuff that they're feeling now, why add to the overload? So I called 'mom' to see when she would be getting back, and then distracted them with a bit of Fraggle Rock in Danish. ^^

But what does depression look like? It surfaces under stress. When we're stressed, we struggle. Under repeated stress, we develop the habits of struggling. And a mind that has been struggling for a long time? Anxiousness, restlessness, difficulty concentrating, easy frustration, difficulty sleeping, feelings of fear for no clear reason.. These thought patterns simply become laid in neural pathways in our brains, without even realizing it. They become our lens and way of looking at the world- everything is analyzed, we look for proof of everything when folk tell us something.. We have a hard time trusting! Especially folk who have been through emotional trauma. There's a -huge- longing for someone or something loving, safe and calm to cling to! And that's the longing for the loving relationship with the Holy sprit. We long for an emotional, guiding connection, that makes right everything that has gone wrong- especially for US.

The me part? The ego part? It wants things it's way. It's locked in the point of view that Weeeee have formed, and doesn't want to bow to what we're taught in the bible. That's not just 'uhnf, that's just how I am. Pft.' - it's genetics, in part, but how we are actually -created-! Think about it. We are created to -walk with god in the garden-. We were created with dominion over all the animals and plants and the very dirt we were formed of, and Adam and Eve's job description: gardeners and animalkeepers, and friends who enjoyed God walking with them. Jesus, walking with them in physical form, the very creator of the universe. They were able to see angels, able to understand every word spoken to them, everything. It was just -right-.

We still have it in us, the want to be kings and queens of our domains. We were created for it! But why could eve, a perfect creation, be tempted?

Lucifer rebelled first, and then he started gossipping to the other angels. He really didn't like that God was putting so much attention on something so miniscule, dirty and tiny as a single dirtball circling around a tiny ball of gas and fire, our of bagazillions of stars He'd just created.. And surely we get that too! As little kids? If there are two toddlers and the one is getting attention, the other tries to get the attention? Lucifer was created as the worship and praise leader of heaven. He was he head honcho, the great garbanzo, the Guy Next to The Throne. And he still certainly remembers that! He didn't loose that ability to go up and chatter with the Guy in the Sky until ca. 2,800 bc, at the flood. The access to the heavens was locked off for him and the third of the angels he whistled down with him to go have kids and reign over the fallen humans. They're here today. They certainly don't like to show us their physical forms, but they sure do mess with folk when their minds and spirits are unguarded!

That you're surely clear over. Mentally ill people and people sick and suffering are vulnerable to the lies and whispered thoughts that circulate about in our society. Why could Eve be tempted? Because she thought she was doing good. She thought she was doing something that would benefit herself and Adam, and she thought she would become even better, like the one she loved so very, very much- her creator. Why did Lucifer whisper to her in serpent form, and not to Adam instead? Men's brains are wired for confidence, action, and calm logic. Women's brains are wired for nourishing, play, emotional connections.. those are our strengths, but also our weaknesses! The serpent appealed to the part of her that wanted to nourish and benefit her loved ones, and he tugged at her emotions, and managed to pull a perfect creation off the good path. Lucifer had done it already in his heart, and he wanted to see what would happen if he got the new flesh beings to go against God.

So why the HECK would God- why in the world or in the heavens, would Jesus, the one who decided to let himself be crucified on the cross to rescue all who would listen, give his creations the ability to fall away and tumble into so much suffering and pain? Even innocent babies who are born without a single scratch written into their record?

Install the Sims, make a family, go into the options menu, and slide the 'free will' slider right off into the red. Watch what happens, try to give them commands. The game becomes just a simulator. A mechanical program, predictable, scripted, boring.. Unreal. And God is -real-. Jesus is a flesh-and-blood, grind-my-teeth-on-a-rock-if-I-have-to sort of person. Would YOU want a family that never brought you questions or communicated to you with their hearts? NO! Hrm.. go ahead and watch 'Stepford Wives'. Oooh, that movie makes the heart of the matter show up! Or for that matter, try watching 'Bicentennial Man'.

Is that longing there, to go from a heart of stone to one of flesh and blood? To laugh and walk freely without halting concern and anxiousness over what other people might think or say if you do one action or another?

That's what the Holy Spirit does. Learning to close one's eyes and -listen- for the in-thoughts whisper of love, faith, and hope which is Jesus' direct answers to us, that's the Spirit. That's what a huge amount of the new testament is devoted to, and why miracles are yet rare among us. Soak up teaching about -what it's like- to have a conversation with Jesus in prayer. Yes, there are times when all we can think of doing is pouring out all our thoughts and letting our brains ramble..

But that's actually biochemical, physical and spiritual! We live rather on starved brains. If you're low on one of the nutrients the brain needs, things will get cluttered and confused up there. The best thing to do is throw down your emotional/mental rag and storageboxers and broom, rest in a chair, and say to Jesus out loud or quietly: 'Jesus, I need help cleaning house. Please come into this messy attic, and start YOUR way of cleaning. Nothing's off-bounds. I need you. You tell me you love me. Show me, please. Show me and talk to me, and please WORK HERE, with me. I miss you!'

Healing starts with giving God -permission-. ;) Opening up to a -relationship-. Learning to give up strongholds. Strongholds are old ways of thinking, old emotional burdens or sores, old thought patterns and ways of acting, old chains that really hold us bound like a hungry dog to a fencepost when there's food in the neighbor's yard..

Do we really need to be domesticated? Do we really need to be have blinds on like a horse pulling a wagon, so we can only see in one direction?

Diseases start with stress and difficulty in the -brain-. Eat to help your -brain-. 70% or higher dark chocolate, a little snapped- off piece the size of your thumb, 5-6 times a day, dark green vegetables, olive-oil dressings, red-meat steaks and eggs and milk and white-breast meats, colorful vegetables of all types, cracked-grain breads, fruits until your teeth squeak when you rub your finger on them because of the flavor of the oranges.. Yep! Don't worry! Use real butter, not spreadables, and real mayo, and mustard. Go light on the animal fats, but -enjoy- them.

Go off artificial sweetners entirely. Aspartame/nutrasweet/equal you can read about: http://curezone.com/foods/aspartame.asp it's a potent neurotoxin and carcinogen. If you want soda and juices, gum and candy, buy it with the real sugar in it. No matter what artificial sweetner you use, your intestines react to it the same way your tongue does- the intestines form fats when given white flour and sugars, and store the nutrients there for when you need a fast burst of energy.

The cells in your intestines are a similar form to those used in nerves and brain tissue. They store and save up what you need to use a little down the line. You might not think with your stomach, but your stomach does a lot of work for you! Treat it right. If you call yourself by Jesus' name (christian, christ, christ in greek means annointed), you're a walking, living, breathing -temple- to his Spirit, and eating lovingly, consciously, and choosing what foods nourish you best is a very real form of -worship-.

After all, where do those foods come from? Factories and slaughterhouses and mechanized farms? No. I say it, no. The foods do not come from there, they come from God blessing our butchers, farmers, herdsmen and workers, so that we can all eat, and have our choice of what to eat and when, and making sure that there is plenty for everybody. What are you doing when you pray thanks for your meal? Don't make it a ritual. Make it a joyful invitation to Jesus to sit alongside like a family member and friend at a picnic bench, about to dig in with you to something great!

Jesus didn't teach without food. He used farming and food-miracles and healing to communicate with his relatives while he was on earth. Did he have everybody sit on pews and put heavy copies of the torah on everybody's laps? Nope! He ate with them, he told parables right where they were standing, he had his eyes, ears and mind open for the really needy people, and the ones that had their hearts gaping open and ready to recieve an outpouring of love, truth, freedom from the bonds of guilt and law, and healing. He ate with everyone, he washed, he -loved- doing what he was doing, and had a sadness in His heart that he couldn't stay longer than he did. It's in Acts, and a few other places- he had to go invisible so that he could BE spirit and communicate with us when we pray. He DID it so that we could have an Age Of Grace, and spread out the message.

So if you want something, ask. If you need something, tug at the hem of his robe and plead- even demand it. We have permission! There's nothing that you can say to him that he hasn't already heard before. What makes him mad? People who blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Who pretend to do miracles, but aren't devoting themselves to Him in their private time in prayer and fasting. We all know them- TV-healers, who say 'put your hand on the screen, pray with me, and send me money'. It's a person who's had a great ministry, but then got caught up in the glory of it, and forgot that he's a mailman because the packages he's been allowed to deliver have made the recipients so happy that they've partied with him.

But Jesus forgives even his servants that stumble! He -never- gives up on us! It's just us that end up here and there giving up on him!

So did I mention the Pineal Gland? It's your day-rhythm regulator, and -heavily- related to emotional activity. I think it's part of what they call the hindbrain, where physical coordination/motorskills are located. It's also important in prayer, and -extremely- sensitive to levels of vitamin D3 in your blood. Your brain needs LOTS of D3. An adult male at 220 pounds/ 98 kilos is estimated to require 3,000 iu/ 75 mcg at LEAST for healthy brain function and cancer pevention, and we're talking about the maintenance of nerves -throughout- the body- not just the brain. Nerves carry the signals between the kidneys, the liver and pancreas, the heart muscle, the lungs, the thyroid glands, every muscle and bone... You've GOT to nourish them! I'm learning to recognize the signs of D3/sunlight deficiency in most of the sufferings I see happen about me in my friends and family, but again, I'm learning too not to throw the information out in the blue sky without explaining why. It's -IMPORTANT-, but it has to be in a way that can be communicated clearly. Lovingly, even!

D3 doesn't -HEAL-. It's just -PILLS-. It's important, but it's JESUS who heals. Prayer/holy-spirit meditation time exercises every part of the brain and even the stem of the spinal chord, and releases good hormones from the nerves themselves. Our stem cells (adult stem cells) are generated all over the body, but especially in the spinal chord fluid, and -soaking up- the holy spirit and the Word of God is -ESSENTIAL- to the health and healing of our bodies.

So what am I talking about?
I'm talking about getting deeper into love. Fall in love with Jesus, start surgically removing the habits and patterns that offend Him and which he's been trying to whisper to you about for so long, and sing in joy every moment. Praise in the middle of pain, cry out in your spirit in the midst of pain, pull away from what you're doing. Have a good cry in the bathroom if you need to, get hugs from someone, be true to what is going on in your heart and mind, and -pull on His robe-. Have that emotional fit, and then quiet yourself to listen. Flip randomly through your bible for a Word, ask for understanding of the prophetic messages and the historical, life lessons that are in there. Listen to Brian Hardin daily, let your heart and mind be revived.

Ask for it.
Act on the promises.
Recieve him, love him.
Learn to say no to negative thoughts and criticising yourself, others and him.
-Follow- Him. :)

<3, -illys
