I need prayer for perseverance and patience. I've taught over 20 years and am tired of some of the hoops and red tape that administration makes us jump through/cut through just to get kids some help who really need more help than I have. I feel very much like an old dog tired of doing the same old tricks just to please administrators.

Praying for teachers today! Every time James calls in I love it! I feel so encouraged and hopeful! Sometimes I happen to be listening to the call ins in my classroom before my 1st period and James pops up! That is the best!
I pray for all our educators here that we would know that God sees all we do every minute and it all matters to Him and His Kingdom. I pray against discouragement and for all His Mercies to pour out into our classrooms as we look toward our Christmas breaks. I also pray for our time away to be refreshing and encouraging. I pray for educators to know they are called to their classroom with God's authority and so we should walk into that knowing He is making our way before us. Stand firm and be the educator that speaks love, truth and grace in the classroom allowing for questioning and inquiry to that students can feel safe to learn, fail and succeed!! 3-2-1 Go!! Leslie, thanks for asking.
Job is really a struggle this year. I'm back in counseling...just overwhelmed. You would think this would be a snap after 22 years, but it seems that the kids are getting more and more disrespectful.

...yes, Ken, the students are more and more disrespectful, that is true. I am praying this morning for you and your stamina and that God would protect our hearts as teachers, that our hearts would not become hardened as we teach these students who challenge our every turn to reach them. Its difficult, challenging and emotionally and spiritually draining. You are not alone. God is with is with us....
