Need Encouragement?

Heart Troubles?
Now, I'm going through something totally different. I had a bad EKG at a physical on Monday. Was obviously scared, but went ahead and got an appt with a cardiologist on Tues. Some quick background...I'm 42 yrs old and a bit overweight and smoked for about 15 years. I've been off cigs for approx 5 months. I thought I was too young for heart issues. The cardiologist thinks that it's blood pressure or a small blockage that is causing the EKG issues and mild, but constant, chest pains and shortness of breath. I have a stress test and an Echo test on Tuesday.
I've been concentrating on Matthew 8 to help keep my fear level in check, but it is tough. I am CONVINCED that my new journey here on DAB led me to that physical so I could start healing physically as well as spiritually.
Sorry if this was rambling, and thanks for listening. Prayers are always appreciated. God Bless.

Thanks everyone! I feel the prayers. Nuclear Stress test tomorrow and and Echo gram in the afternoon. Should know something when they're done or may have to wait until to get the results on Thursday.
Keep them coming. I love you all and bless you.

Good evening.
First off, thank you thank you thank you for all the kind words and prayers! I really could feel them and I know they helped.
I am now done with all the tests and go back tomorrow for the follow up appointment to go over all the results. An MD actually did the echo test yesterday (2/8)and he said that his initial opinion was that it looked good. The camera was broken on the stress test stuff, so I had to come back in today for that. The stress test was not an easy test. There is a lot of waiting around for the nuclear material to circulate. I was really nervous about this test so during all the waiting I read the Gospel of John on my phone. Reading the word of God really helped the time go by and gave me peace. The x-rays/imaging is kind of confining and I don't really care for that, so I just closed my eyes and prayed prayed prayed. It was awesome the immediate help it gave me. The DAB family was mentioned a LOT in those prayers.
So...no "final" word until late tomorrow, but as of right now I feel pretty good about the results. It will be good to rule out heart issues so we can move on and find out what is causing the tiredness and chest pain.
I still need prayers, so keep em coming.
Much Love to you and thanks again.
Humbly,
jim
