Cell phone numbers

Please do not let people give out cell phone numbers over the open podcasts as it could do them real harm!
Not everyone who listens to the DAB is going to be a Christian and 2 there are all kinds of people that would love to take advantage of someone who might be down and out and use this kind of info for harm!
I believe we as Daily Audio Bible people need to protect the folks who might be down! The last thing they need is someone to come along and do them harm, it would be the last thing they need !

People who offer information do so because they want it known. In some cases we restrict certain information however the call you're referring to are people who have been listening to the DAB for four years. Is there a risk? Maybe. Is is a risk they are willing to take? Apparently. There have been many cases where people want to reach out to callers and we have absolutely no way of helping in that regard because we don't know how to contact them ourselves. For the most part we don't and won't allow people to offer a ton of personal information because it could work both ways. We're sensitive to this and have learned a lot over the past five years. If you hear someones personal information it's because we've considered it carefully.
