Praise

(no subject)
Today I attended a production of "The Thorn", which is a live production based on the Passion of Christ. I absolutely loved it, which really doesn't do justice to my emotions right now. In fact, on my way home I couldn't stop the tears from falling as I pondered the sacrifice made for me. Oh how i long to be with Jesus... "One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple." (Psalm 27:4)

So when I arrived home, I felt the need to write down what was going through my mind. This is what I wrote for the glory of the ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD.

His face, I can’t get out of my mind. His beautiful, smiling face, shining love toward all He sees. He looks in love to everyone he sees, even to those who hate Him.

He sees children singing and dancing in a circle and He joins them! On His face is utter and pure joy. He loves them so and they love Him.

He’s in agony. He’s been betrayed. He wants the cup to be taken from Him, but not His will but God’s will be done. He loves His betrayer. He loves him so. Even though He’s been betrayed.

He’s being beaten, slashed, whipped. Hooks are digging into His flesh. Thirty-nine times. He is doing this for me. He is doing this for you. He is doing this for His torturer. He loves him so.

He’s hanging on the cross. His blood is flowing, the precious flow. He loves us, how He loves us. He died. He died. He died for me. He died for you.

He is risen. He is risen. HE IS RISEN! He is here again and He loves us. He loves us even when we don’t love Him.

His face, I can’t get out of my mind. His beautiful, smiling face, shining love toward all He sees. He looks in love to everyone he sees, even to those who hate Him. But... I love Him, I love Him, I love Him.

Glory be to God forever and ever!
