Praise

This year has found us here
This year found us that our home now, my husband working, and the children at school. So far, we applied for six positions at various locations around Canada and waited to hear the results. Mean while, we painted the house and got it ready to place on the market.

My husband was having intense persecution from his supervisor and he went out of his way to make sure that my husband received a bad reference from him to all the positions he had applied to. Ending with no new job.

One day last week, the company unexpectedly cut a great number of jobs within the company. My husbands job was saved, but the supervisor was asked to leave with no warning and no compensation package. My husband was so protected that he did not even get the e-mail message for all the team to return to the office for a meeting.

That same week we had a friend who was moving away and had his house on the market for seven months, finally pack and needed our help for the final work necessary for him and his wife to move. He was so generous through this that he left us his car and various other items that he could not take with him.

Also that same week, an old employer asked for my husband to do some work for him through his current employer, and when he got their he said to him, that he knew he had not paid him last year for the work he had done while employed by him. He said he could not pay him still but would he accept a tv in return for wages due. My husband said yes. Loose ends tied up.

Not only did we not move, but we love our newly painted house, our new car and tv and we love most of all that we are together as a family and have remained faithful to God even through the workings of His plan for our lives. It is only April now, but a great many things have taken place in the past four months. We praise and give thanks to God for all he has done for us today.

God's ways are certainly not our ways. It's so awesome to see how God works. God is Great!

Sarah, thank you for sharing what God is doing in your life. I never tire of hearing stories of his power, wisdom, and love--all very much present in your story. I also want to compliment your obedience in opening your mouth wide in praise for what the Father has done--blessings are surely to follow. God loves our praise. God bless you, precious one.
