Bible Questions and Spiritual Discussion

Problem with Church- Need Encouragement and Insight
I am faced with having to leave my church due to a strange and anti-Biblical choice that our elders made. They recently hosted an art show featuring two artists. One artist is a Christian, and the theme of his art is eternal life. The other artist in the show is a professed agnostic. The theme of his art is the *non-existence* of eternal life. There was a question and answer session with the artists, too. The idea, the church leadership says, is to "gain insight" into two different world views. But, hello! Why would a gospel-professing church entertain a discussion about a world view that is directly in opposition to the teachings of the Bible regarding the resurrection? These two men's views are lined up right beside each other with no particular judgment of either- just a straight side-by-side comparison. Please see 1 Cor. 15 to see what the Bible actually has to say about those who deny the truth of the resurrection. I am completely heartbroken. I have given six years of my life and several thousand dollars to this church. We are without a pastor now, and my husband and I feel that this may be why the elders are falling into serious error. Please tell me if you have ever heard about anything like this. If you have any advice to offer, please share it. I have written the elders a letter detailing why I believe that it was a mistake to host this art show. It has been about a week, and I have not heard a response from them yet. I told them that I was considering leaving, but my husband and I are pretty sure that we can't stay in such a mixed-up church. Thank you for your help, and I would appreciate prayers, as well.

its called academic thought. Present the opposite side of the argument.
