This may not fit here, but it is something about the fight that I wonder about.

This ted talk on pleasure (16 minutes) is really interesting to me. It ends with the quote from Milton's Paradise Lost, "The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven.." The talk explores some unexpected ways the mind influences our behavior: http://www.wimp.com/pleasureorigins/

In one of the many threads here somebody asked a question about where demons reside. The thread was so thick that nobody picked up on it, but the question stayed with me in the background. It made me wonder about the war in the heavenly realms and how our mind is part of the battlefield. Our physical mind somehow interfaces with the spiritual domain? Sometimes I think my mind is constantly getting rushed and overrun from such a layer. This fight for life series seems to support this idea.

There is an idea presented here that we value something not so much for what it is as much as the creativity we think that was in play. Also mentioned is the idea that suffering/pain varies depending on what we think is going on at the root. The battlefield of the mind is really tricky.

Any understanding about the war and how our mind fits into the big picture? Does the Word speak on this? One of the things I wonder about the mind is how we are encouraged to speak to the foul spirits when we take authority through the blood of Christ, and yet our mind seems to be where they get to assault us. How does that work?

Curios.

It was a good lesson.

Another great lesson for me. There is such a battle in my mind when I go through hard things in life. There is the "where are you God" and "speak to me" battle and listening to this lesson made me understand that each one of us is going through battles at times and at the end when we REALLY give EVERYTHING to God, we find peace in our heart which is that what is LIFE, which is GOD.
I thought while listening to the podcast of sowing seed and then the waiting period and then THE BEAUTY of a Flower or Plant which is LIFE. That's why this is called: THE FIGHT FOR LIFE. Lord help us to fight for LIFE and not give up.

rom 5:10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

Jesus, heal my broken heart.
