Nephilites And what came before Genesis?

Hi DAB family I have a couple of questions and hopefully you have the answers. First question, was there a world before Genesis? Second, Nephilites... are they a race of half breeds of angel and human? My Bible says they were giants. But here's the part that confuses me, The Bible says giant Nephilites lived on earth for whenever the "sons of God" had intercourse with the "daughters of man" they gave birth to children who became the heroes and famous warriors of ancient time. Sons of God meaning angels? Please help

Sons of God is a phrase that can be used of any supernatural being not just Angels. It could not obviously have been Angels in this case since Angels are not given in marriage as Jesus Himself said in an answer about the woman who married several brothers and to who she would be married to in the afterlife. Jesus said there would be no marriage in the afterlife. We will be like the Angels neither married or given in marriage. This strongly implies no procreation parts or need for these parts for Angels. Who these sons of God were remains a mystery. What is not a mystery is the fact that there were more supernatural beings that were not Angels. There is a whole hierarchy of such beings that are a part of Satan's army who are definitely not the Angels that were cast out along with Satan. Those Angels are locked away till the end time. It is possible these supernatural beings were from a time before man.
As to the question was there a world before Genesis. The answer is in the second sentence of the Bible. And the Earth existed as desert and wasteland. This is what the original Hebrew said literally. Most modern translations says, and the Earth was, which means the same thing as existed. So there was a world before the account in Geneses.

Good thinkin' Newbie,
Here we are at Genesis 6. Read the text carefully FOR WHAT IT SAYS rather than reading what you thinhk it might say into the text. Gen6:1 "MEN began to multiply"...6:3 My Spirit shall not strive with MAN forever because he is also FLESH". 6:4 There were also giants (NEPHILUM-a trible or peoples existent at the time period) in those days, and also afterward,when the sons of God came in to the daughters of MEN and they bore CHILDREN to them. Those were the might MEN of old, Men of reknown.
AS you can see the Nephilum were giants and great wariors. One thing must be understoode here and that is that this is the pre Noah's flood era which occurs in the following chapter Genesis 7. Due to the high atmospheric pressure there were human giants (shown by arheaology and dinosaurs). Google unknown archeology. Think Goliath whwo was 9feet tall and cam we after the flood! Aldo thinkof 8 foot basketball atheletes!
When all of the rain fell in Noahs flood it changed the atmospheric pressure and left us with the ozone layer and oceans. (Growth became less similarly as when one is in space loses bone mass after a short time?)
Also, since fallen angels are immaterial and spiritual without the capability to create, it's impossible to procreate with one of God's precious human creatures. All demons have the capacity to do is deceive,lie and imitate in the reverse such as having an unholy trinity or upsidedown cross as a symbol.
