It does bring the true meaning of Christ back to December 25th. I live in a community of old order Mennonites, and amish. Christmas day is not celebrated with gifts,tinsil, and trees, instead we believe every day we bless someone is Glory to God.This is our celebration. It helps keep us humble, and mindful of how unimportant earthly possessions are compared to what we will inherit.
