Dear DAB family ,
it has taken me a whole year to realise that Christ is always there, regardless of the situation.
Everything that could go wrong went wrong this year, I was faced with blackmail, threats, fear, job loss, immigration issues, accommodation issues, i had absolutely no peace, no answers, i had exhausted all my problem solving abilities and the problems kept compounding and then I reached rock bottom, I lost control of everything , I went through various stages- pretend holiness, anger, self pity, crying .
I really don't know when, but i realised that the first thing I should do is LET GO, leave everything for someone who is bigger than all these problems I was facing ,then i went to Christ in prayer as i am , just as plain Ijeoma Sandra Enwesi , i spoke to him honestly, frankly , explaining my fears , my troubles like he didn't know already .
So I held on to the promises of Christ who said Be still and know that I am God ,for me this meant that i should not be afraid ,he is there with me , whatever the situation he is there , he also said Be not afraid i go before you ALWAYS not on Tuesdays or on Sundays only but ALWAYS, so whatever the case maybe he is already in front clearing the path for me,removing any issues, dealing with the unknown which was a source of great anxiety for me.
So far, I have managed to move house,i am much calmer and happier,some friends have really come through for me and after
not working for more than 7months, I have been offered a fantastic job , I resume in Jan ,getting a job even with the issues surrounding my immigration makes it even more of a miracle , Friends it could only be God.
So please if you are going through any trouble at all, LET GO , DON'T BE A HERO say very slowly with your eyes closed BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD, really meditate on what this means to you, believe in it and try to relax,then go to Christ in prayer, go to him as you are, with all your iniquities, all your faults, tell him what the problem is, he is listening When you are not in control , He is in control.
There is a God and he sits on the throne, he is waiting for you.
