Divine Reading

For those that have read Passages, I am curious...have you tried the divine reading Brian describes in Chapter 6? I attempted this last night. Our sermon yesterday was over Psalm 119 and having a hunger for God's word. It prompted me to look more deeply into this Psalm. So I decided to take each stanza of it at a time and try the divine reading method. While I can't say it was this amazing spiritual event, I can say that God revealed something to me, a truth about how to have a blessed life.
I will say for me the most challenging thing was to leave the iPhone alone...I barely go 5 minutes without checking something on it. But I made it through :) Excited to give it a try again later tonight before bed.
I'd love to hear others experience's with this.

I just orderd the book today! Can't wait to read it. My prayer has been these past few weeks, Lord create a hunger within me for your Word!!! Will keep you posted!!!
