Whether weight is a "problem" in your life or it's some other single factor, this can apply to everyone. Never forget it!
You are beautiful. Your beauty, just like your capacity for life, happiness, and success, is immeasurable. Day after day, countless people across the globe get on a scale in search of validation of beauty and social acceptance.
Get off the scale! I have yet to see a scale that can tell you how enchanting your eyes are. I have yet to see a scale that can show you how wonderful your hair looks when the sun shines its glorious rays on it. I have yet to see a scale that can thank you for your compassion, sense of humor, and contagious smile. Get off the scale because I have yet to see one that can admire you for your perseverance when challenged in life.
It's true, the scale can only give you a numerical reflection of your relationship with gravity. That's it. It cannot measure beauty, talent, purpose, life force, possibility, strength, or love. Don't give the scale more power than it has earned. Take note of the number, then get off the scale and live your life. You are beautiful!

This would be so much easier to believe if anyone in my life treated me like I was. I like this post because this is my biggest struggle. I have been single all my life and I am 100% convinced it is because of my weight. If I was a size 5 I might be able to get someone to notice me. But I also don't feel that I have any of the other qualities you mentioned either.

Oh my dear Sister RaceGirl you most certainly do have all the qualities mentioned. I have read all of your posts. You show in them the God given talents of compassion and love. Strengths far greater and more beautiful than mere outward flesh can convey.
These carnal bodies we have are just temporary clothing till we reach the world to come. There are many who see true beauty in the smiling eyes of a compassionate and humble soul. You have this, it shows by the words you write for others. There are no proud boasts from you, no arrogance but plenty of thoughtful and grace filled words.
You don't need to be a size 5 to get noticed, you are already noticed by the gentle and kind spirit you have. A true child of the King. Let it shine for that is true beauty and the most attractive kind.
It is the inner beauty that attracts Godly men. But you need to let it shine instead of hide it in self imposed loathing. The same inner beauty you have now is the same one that is a child of God and will live forever in the beautified resurrected body to live in the Kingdom of God with Jesus for eternity.
Jesus spoke of the great reversal. Though you be lowly now you will be raised up. Looked down upon now you will be lifted. You have much more to look forward to than the beauty queen with a mean spirited haughty demeanor. Now that is truly ugly but you are beautiful.

I totally agree with DavidWayne. I have read many of your post and you shine with beauty and grace. Without that inner beauty you have, a size 5 wouldn't do you much good. God bless.
