Need Encouragement?

Where do I stand?
I am 27 and this year thank you to the DAB is the first time I hav had anything to do with the bible. Whilst I am thoroughly enjoying God's word, I am full of questions especially to do with my bipolar. I am not experienced with the bible, I have no idea where God stands on mental illness.
Thank you for your time.

Tara God blesses those who seek him with all their hearts. I matters not whether you have an illness or not. There is no distinction between one or another for we are all equal in His eyes. He has no praise for any of our abilities because all things come from Him.
In the Bible Jesus was the most tender to the afflicted. It is written , a bruised reed He will not crush. Bipolar is a physical illness caused by a non functioning or over functioning or a deformed gland. The mental part is a symptom caused by it. I'm sure you know this being a sufferer of the disorder. God has compassion for all who have ailments.
As His child He will give you strength to persevere through this life with or without illness. Being Bipolar does not make you any less the apple of His eye. God does not have favorites and His love for you is as great as it is for anyone.

Tara I agree with Davidwayne and I pray that the Word of God will start giving you hope and courage through every day. I pray that the Word of God will guide you in God's immense wisdom and that His Light will shine through you and that His Word will change you from the inside out.

Meditate on the suffering of Jesus with the crown of thorns. Mental illness is a tough cross to carry and Jesus is suffering with you while you carry yours. He is very close to you always. Know also that God gave men the means to create medicines. So we shouldn't be adverse to praying to God to help us through medicine.

I don't know if this might help, but I found this:
