On the Lost Son

In my family, we were sometimes very challenged by the Parable of the Lost Son. Somehow it didn't seem fair. I have gotten past that a lot this past year. I wrote a poem about it in my blog this week.

That really touched my heart. When we are filled with anger that leaves little room in our hearts for much else. When we free ourselves of it that leaves room for God to do his good works in us.

That's amazing, Tom. I love those words too. I was struck to tears one time a few years back when I realized that I had become the older brother. And then I read those words. "You are always with Me. Everything I have is yours." What a Amazing God we serve. How Amazing is His grace. Thank you for writing that.
