A Challenge...
God has blessed me with friends and family, some of which are gay. I do not tell them they are sinners or wrong, although I believe what the Bible says is true. They hear that enough. I try to show them unconditional love the same as I do all my friends and family.

I have been reading a lot of posts lately stating that science has proven people are born gay. Even if this is true, it wouldn't change my beliefs on the subject.

WIth all that being said, I DO NOT WANT THIS TO TURN INTO AN UGLY DEBATE. If you want to say anything that is not loving, please start another thread. What I would like to do is challenge anyone who is interested to see if they can find an article about this from a scientific perspective. (Not from a Christian website or a LGBT website or a website that is linked to either.) I would like to know what studies have been done on this and if scientists truly do think they have found a cause.

Grace, peace and love to you all.

Marcie I am not good in debating and I believe that once we get too scientifically, we loose our focus on the what the Bible teaches us. I believe to rather go to our Lord Jesus and ask Him for wisdom and knowledge and to love unconditionally and asking Him to help us to see into the heart of men.

Helga, I think you may have misread my post. I am not looking for a debate and I, too, believe what the Bible says is truth. I just want to know if it has or has not been proven by science so I can intelligently engage in a conversation about this. I have looked and can't seem to find anything about it that doesn't come from a partisan source. I don't want to tell someone it hasn't been proven if indeed it has. Just looking for some help from the Internet junkies out there.

Ok Marcie, I am sorry, I did misread your post. I also heard before that people state that they are born Gay but I never made the effort to search this out. I read some books from Dr Caroline Leaf who does studies about the brain and how we think etc. and she spoke also about the DNA of men. I must actually search this out again. Was quite interesting.
