Love this, Tom. I've been working at being in silence to listen, too. :) I love the quote, "God speaks to the one who is listening..." My prayer is that you will be filled with the voice of God, and that your ready pen will catch it.

Good stuff Tom. I agree with Kelley on the quote, "God speaks to the one listening".I love this simple yet all important truth. Your poem incorporated this thought very well with the first thing in your morning. A small poem that shows a willing heart and speaks volumes.
