baby name
My husband and I are going to add a new baby to our family at the end of November/beginning of December. Although we never find out gender until our children arrive - we usually have both a girl and boy name picked out. We have the girl name, but are struggling with the boy name. I can here to ask some opinions on a name....

We are heavily considering Benaiah William (Last Name). What are you opinions? We do NOT plan on him going by the nickname Ben and will correct people early in life. Of course when he gets older, it is ultimately his choice. My husband really likes this name. Although I like the name, I am worried that it is too different sounding. I worry about teasing and bullying or anything of the unusual consequences of having an unusual name.

Opinions would be fabulous!!

Benaiah (Hebrew: ?????, "Yahweh builds up"[1] "The first part of the name Benaiah comes from the verb (bana), which is the Hebrew common and ubiquitous verb meaning to build, but which seems to be closely related to the noun (ben), he was one of David's Mighty men.
I think it would be a great name.
He may be teased sometimes, but kids are often teased for any name.
I don't think he will get an unusual amount of teasing if you pick the name.
Congratulations on your new addition. It will make Thanksgiving season very special for you!
