A Fantastic Weekend in St. Paul!
Connie and I got home a few hours ago from a fantastic weekend!
Friday, we went to St. Paul, MN, to visit with our son Paul at St. Paul Seminary,
where he is finishing his first year.
Saturday night, the three of us went to the Daily Audio Bible family gathering
at Randolph Heights Presbyterian Church in St. Paul,
where we had the privilege of meeting Brian and Jill - and Ezekiel -
and Catholica.
I had been telling Paul about him for quite some time,
and the two of them hit it off really well, as I knew they would.
It rained every day we were in St. Paul, and a good part of the return trip,
but nothing dampened the joy of a great few days!

It was really great to meet you and your family, Lanny. Your wife seems like a sweetheart! And your son is a good man.

How did you like the Cathedral, Lanny?

It was really great to chat with Brian. Your kids are neat, and Ezekiel is a darling.

Also I met a spunky lady named Lu who said she might check out the forums. Hi Lu, this is Andre! Hopefully they are not to hard to use!

Even though I've been around awhile, I still felt that I didn't know anybody (save a few) and I was wondering if they were simply more extroverted than I or if that was because I'm not on Facebook. :-)

The Cathedral was very impressive!
Paul served as crucifer for the service,
and did a good job.

Andre, we are all on facebook where we do most of our communing. We have a DAB friends group also, just need one of us to invite you since it is a closed group. Join us Andre, I know you would be most welcome.

Hi Davidwayne, thanks for the invite, and I would join the group if I was on Facebook, but I refuse to join. :-) I guess it's just another sacrifice to make.

Karen, my wife, and I really wanted to come over, but I had other responsibilities on Saturday and Sunday and couldn't be away from home that weekend. We would have loved to meet you folks. Karen says next time we will plan it out early for sure!
