The Daily Audio Bible is helping millions and I applaud all that you are doing. My heart is very heavy, however, because Bible paraphrases like The Message and The Voice use phrases that are widely used in New Age teachings.. Why would we not call God God or Lord Lord in place of Eternal One? What happens when new people hear these versions and do not know that we are speaking of God? We must remember that when man fell, Satan said "Did God really say?" I feel convicted to raise this issue because I fear that we are keeping people from reading Scripture that is translated word for word and providing writings that rely on man's understaning and not the Lord's understanding. I am not suggesting that this is intentional, but unless we test the spirits as Scripture advises, we may risk leading people down a dangerous road. When I stand before the Lord at the Judgment Seat of Christ, I do not want Him to ask me why His Word, word for word, was not sufficient?
