Today is the 19th day of June. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian and I am excited to have this chance to be with you, share the scriptures together, feast on the Word together, fill our lives together with great seeds to plant in the soil of who we are that God can then turn into a fruitful crop in our lives. So we are reading from the New Living Translation this week.
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for your Word. We often do this because we are eternally grateful. It is the friend that you have given us that speaks truth into our lives, the tangible gift that guides and directs our steps every day. Every day you’ve given us a companion to walk with us, one that continually retells and retells the story of who we are and how we got here. You have given us the gift of your Holy Spirit that we see so miraculously and powerfully at work. We invite you, Holy Spirit, to be the same inside of us. Be powerfully at work not only transforming us as people, but transforming the world through us. Come Holy Spirit, we pray in Jesus’ name, amen.
Www.DailyAudioBible.com is the website. It is where you find out what is going on around here, and this summer festival tour is about to get underway. So, let’s see, like a week from now, I think it starts a week from yesterday. I'm not 100% sure, but the weekend of the 26th of June is the first date and that is at the Creation Festival in Mount Union, PA. Then the weekend after that River Rock Festival in Maine. That is July 4th weekend. The weekend after that, the 10th of July weekend is Ichthus Festival, Lexington, KY area, and then the weekend after that, the 17th of July, that weekend Sonshine Festival, Minneapolis. And then the final festival that I’ll be at will be the 31st, the weekend of the 31st of July, Creation Northwest in the Tri Cities of Washington State. So if you are attending any of those festivals, be sure to look for the Shock and Awe Show and come and say hi. I would love to meet you. It is one of my favorite things. Actually, a bunch of travel isn’t my favorite thing, but being out and among this community, that is one of my favorite things. So if you’re around, come say hello for sure.
Looking forward into kind of beginning to move into the Reframe message, I’ll be speaking at The Heartbeat of Plymouth at the Penn Theatre in Plymouth, MI the 15th and 16th of August, both evenings there, so be sure to come out and say hello. I would love to see you.

Community Prayer Requests and Praise Reports:
Hi Daily Audio Bible family. This is Kim from Florida. I called in probably about 2 years ago about our eldest daughter that was making some choices in her life that were really just breaking our hearts. The first thing I wanted to do was just give a praise report on that. Sorry, it’s breaking me up just thinking about it, but about a year and a half ago she moved home and has since come to the Lord and been baptized. I just praise him and can't believe the amazing change in her life. I just thank you all for your prayers. Just ask that you continue to be in prayer for her just to make some new friends in the church community and to grow in her relationship with the Lord. I also wanted to ask a quick prayer for myself. I’ve been on a path of weight loss and getting fit and healthier. Also I am getting ready to start in about a week to college after about a 25-year absence. Little nervous. Little concerned about finances involved, especially with our younger daughter finishing up her senior in college at the same time. So if you could just ask the Lord to be clear in his guidance and to just make a way financially or at least make it known to us clearly what our paths should be with that, I would really appreciate it. And also for consistency and staying with my health and fitness goals. Thank you so much and praying for you every day. Bye-bye.
Hi, my name is Lisa and I wanted to call this afternoon. It is Tuesday, June 16th. I live in Tennessee but I am a Canadian and I gave my life to Christ 6 years ago at the age of 34. I came to the Lord basically because I was in desperation and I had a lot of things in my life that were in turmoil. Thankfully, with the Lord’s grace, he transformed my life, restored my marriage. I struggled for many, many years to try and immerse myself in the Word daily, but I was just struggling with that. A friend mentioned the Daily Audio Bible to me late last year and I’ve been faithfully listening daily since January 1st, and I cannot tell you all the amazing blessings that this ministry has just poured out on me personally over the last 6 months. I rejoice and I cry with all of you and I pray along with this amazing Daily Audio Bible community. I have just a really quick prayer request. My 2 children and I are about to embark on a road trip to Canada. We leave on Wednesday, June 24th and although we wish my husband could join us, he has a new job that requires that he stay behind. But I would like to ask prayers specifically for safety primarily. It is a 3-day trip by car that we will take together and it can be stressful with 2 children, but as we prepare for the trip, I'm also having some mechanical problems with my vehicle, so I'm just praying that those will be resolved and that God will smooth the way for us. But specifically I'm also praying that while we are in Canada, that my children and I will be good witnesses and servants for Christ. Most of my friends and family are not believers and this can cause some tension in certain situations when we are together and I always lean on my faith and I take these opportunities and appointments with the Lord to share with others, but…
Hi DAB family. My name is Kelly from Colorado. I'm going to try to get through this. I'm about to go over to my sister’s house. We have been fighting for many, many months. We blame each other for different things and we’re not happy with each other and I just really hope this problem can be solved peacefully right now. I’ve heard those prayers on this station that have been answered even before they have been aired, so I'm just sending this out there and maybe when you hear this it will all be over. Hi family. This is Shannon from Texas and I would love for you to pray with me for a few things actually. First of all, about my brother. His name is Shane. I have a little resentment towards him. I'm not even sure why. I'm kind of just praying about it. I want to ask that you would pray for him for his healing. He has a lot of guilt. He doesn’t really talk about it, but his ex-wife left him for New Zealand and was martyred after she got there and he is struggling with some major health issues. Also, his friend Josiah and his young wife and children, he is called of God, but he is really struggling with some extreme religious spirits and torment from schizophrenic traits. I myself have been delivered from that, so I know that it is possible. Josiah means Jehovah help, so I would like to just speak that over him. And also, my former abuser, this is really hard for me to do, but I feel like God has just been asking me to pray for him. I just lift him up to God and just speak peace over him and ask that God would just separate all of the things that are not of God from him that are still involving my son. Hey everybody. It’s Laura in South Florida and I just wanted to call in with a Happy Father’s Day wish to all the fathers and soon to be fathers and dads that act like fathers to other kids, just to encourage you. I hope you have a good day, that you’re recognized or maybe reconciled with your kids. I want to remind you how important you are to us, your wives and your children. There are so many of you that encourage me and give me hope that maybe my husband could grow more spiritually. I'm so thankful for you and your example and your peers need you, too, to be that example for them who aren’t as strong as you. So please continue to be courageous and keep growing in your faith. Love your wives and your kids. Your kids need to see your spirituality in order for them to have their own as they grow. You are so important to us. Hi DAB family. This is Billie from Texas and I have 2 things that I really want you to please, please pray for. Number one would be for my husband and my children as they are on a church camp. I would really appreciate you lifting them up for safety in traveling. Then also I would ask that you would lift up my family, my siblings in particular and especially my brothers. I have 4 brothers, but I have 3 that really, really need prayer. They are so far away from God. Praise the Lord my youngest sister, I’ve gotten her listening to DAB and she has drawn so close to God. That is such an answered prayer. So my prayer now is that my brother John would draw to you, God. I pray, God, that whatever these chains are that are holding him would be broken. I pray that this Christian rehab home for men that he has agreed to go to, that you will make a way for him to get there and that you will transform his life. God, I pray this with all of my heart. I believe. Your Word says if you believe you shall receive, and Lord, I believe. I believe. Family, will you pray this in Jesus’ name? I pray that you would stand with me with my family and especially my brothers. Lord, I just love you for this family.
