1 Chronicles 15:1-16:36 ~ Romans 1:18-32 ~ Psalm 10:1-15 ~ Proverbs 19:6-7
Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. Today is the 13th of July. I’m Brian. Good to be here with you today as we continue into this new week and the new book of Romans that we started yesterday in the New Testament, but before we get to all that, we’re still working our way through the book of 1 Chronicles. This week we’re reading from the New International Version.

Prayer:

Father, thank you again for your kindness in giving us your Word, a tangible gift that is in our lives and permeates our lives and penetrates our lives and gives us your counsel through the stories of those who have gone before us and through the power of your Holy Spirit. We are so deeply grateful. We thank you for your fathering of our souls, your protection over our body, soul, mind, spirit, hearts and will and we yield all of that to you today, inviting you completely to plant the words of the scriptures in our hearts and lives and minds and guide our paths today. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

Community Prayers and Praise Reports:

Dear DAB family, this is Mary from Colorado and I am rejoicing today. I wanted to share parts of Psalm 103 that are on my heart. Praise the Lord, O my soul, all my inmost being. Praise his Holy Name. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities, for as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far as he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him. From everlasting to everlasting, the Lord's love is with those who fear him and his righteousness with their children's children. The Lord has established his throne in heaven and his kingdom rules over all. Praise the Lord, O my soul. Today is July 9th and I celebrate 2 birthdays today, the day of my birth and also my spiritual birthday 52 years ago. I am overwhelmed with remembering God's goodness and faithfulness, his constant presence, walking beside me every moment. He has never forsaken me. I am so thankful for his countless gifts in my life. I am so grateful for the gift of the Daily Audio Bible. I will be celebrating my 1-year anniversary on August 15th and I'm so, so thankful for this amazing blessing in my life. I love hearing God's Word spoken in my heart each day and knowing I'm part of this amazing worldwide community. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Hello, this is Jenny and I'm calling from Alabama, from Anniston, AL. This is the first time I’ve called. I listened to the community prayer line for the first time the other day and my heart was so touched. I just started weeping because it was such… All of you are such an amazing patchwork of colors in God's quilt. It just touched me. I wanted to just acknowledge some of those prayers, some of those pieces of the quilt. The man in China in Beijing, you are a purple piece of that quilt. I see purple as a mixture of blue and red, the blood of Jesus and the presence of God. So I pray for those who sing over you the blood of Jesus, for protection concerning the police, that you would have favor and the presence of God, just to walk in his presence and to accomplish and do mighty exploits in the name of Jesus. The first time I heard this prayer line, the community prayer, I heard the woman talking about her daughter that no longer seemed to have mothering instincts. That one just ripped my heart out because I agreed with you, it is __________. I definitely just want to ask for peace, that you would visit the daughter in dreams and visions, that you would prick her heart, with other mothers that have discernment to be able to reach out to her perception and of the things to say. And for the man in California who had his father just die, this one is near to me because my husband and I were separated for 9 years when he called me at work one day and told me that, and these words were, “Dad died.” And I'm…

Hey DAB family, this is Brad from Livingston, MT. The reason I'm calling, I'm calling for Paul from Beijing. So Paul, I just want to tell you thank you very much for reaching out to us. For everybody else, I just feel really strongly about this. This is the persecuted church. Paul represents the persecuted church across the world and we need to pray for them. We need to lift them up and we need to fervently pray for them. Not just for their physical protection, but I'm going to be praying for their favor, that God grants them favor, that the people that are watching them and surveilling them just can’t help it but find themselves being attracted to these people and liking these people that are in the church. These are our brothers and sisters. I also believe that this persecution, we’re starting to see it here in America and they’ve already seen it in Europe and other places. We all need to stick together. We all need to pray because we have to remember this is a spiritual battle. There are principalities that are behind this and we need to find those principalities and cast them out in the name of Jesus. So I hope everybody joins together in prayer for Paul and his church, that they just have divine favor, that their football game goes well, their soccer game, and also that they can get into their church because that is God's church. God provided that church to them and they need to move into it and they need to prosper there in the kingdom. They need to spread the kingdom. There are so many people that need Christ all around the world. Anyway, I just want to lift Paul in Beijing and bless you. I'm just going to be praying for you fervently. Thank you so much for calling in. Alright, love you guys. Talk to you later. Bye-bye.

Hi, good morning Dabbers. This is Claire from Anderson Island in Washington. I just finished listening this morning. Today is the 11th and I heard Joe, the police officer. It just warmed my heart and comforted me so much to hear your voice, Joe. I’ve really missed you and just want you to know that yes, you and your family and your career issues, you are all in my prayers and you have lifted us up. You’ve personally lifted me up and my family in the past so I want to lift you up like Aaron and Hur lifted up Moses’ hands when the battle was going on. Your brothers and sisters are lifting you up. We love you. You will get through this and I always think of – I don’t remember exactly where this was – but I remember Jehoshaphat was going to battle and the Lord told him just stand still and worship. That is what you are to do, stand still and worship and I will fight this battle for you. So brother, don’t worry about trying so hard or trying to be perfect. Jesus is with you. The other day on my long walk, the most important thing the Lord told me is that he walks side-by-side with us. He goes at our pace, not in front of us, not behind. He goes at our pace and he meets us where we are. We are to meet others where they are in their journey and just walk with them as Jesus had. So I love you. We all love you and we’ve missed you. Keep worshipping. Keep praising and this too shall pass. Though not biblical, but the Lord will be with you and it will pass. Have a wonderful day, Dabbers. I'm going off to a Freedom Immersion class with my 2 children, so if you could keep us in your prayers. My son is a little bit manic again. This tends to happen in the summer, so really would covet your prayers. Okay, until next time, God bless you. Bye-bye.

Hi family. I pray that you're all having a blessed day in the joy of the Lord. This is Lisa from western North Carolina and I'm calling to ask if you would join with me as family, as the body of Christ, to uphold our brother, Scott, before the Lord. Scott called a week or so ago and asked for prayer. He's like a son to me and he is the one who actually introduced me to the Daily Audio Bible. I think he's been a faithful listener for many years. If I'm not mistaken, he's never called in before, but regardless of that, he did call in and ask for prayer. So family, please join me in praying for the Holy Spirit's healing power over Scott's life and his heart. Pray that he’ll be able to recover from this in the power of God and through the Word of God as his stabilizer, his buckler. I pray that he’ll be sheltered under the wings of the Almighty during this healing time. So family, please join me in lifting up our brother, Scott, before the Lord and know that I'm praying for each and every one of you every day. We’re all just broken, dirty, rotten sinners, that while we were yet in our sin, He loved us, so let's love each other. Keep the faith. In Jesus’ name, amen.
