2 Chronicles 6:12-8:10 ~ Romans 7:14-8:8 ~ Psalm 18:1-15 ~ Proverbs 19:24-25
Today is the 22nd of July. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It is great to be here with you today. Excited for another day, another step forward through the scriptures this year as we do this in community as the global family of Christ all over the world. We’re reading from the International Standard Version this week. We’re reading from the book of 2 Chronicles today.

Prayer:

Father, we agree certainly with the Apostle Paul and his writings to the Romans – it is a battle. We are constantly at war to submit ourselves to your authority. And there is no way we can succeed in our own strength without the power of your Holy Spirit in our lives. And so we consciously submit ourselves to the power of your Holy Spirit, inviting you fully and granting you unimpeded access to who we are – our identity, our thoughts, our words, our motives, our bodies. We give ourselves over to you fully and invite you to be the life force within us that we might indeed, as Paul said, ‘be dead to an old nature that has been crucified with Christ.’ And now it is you who are alive within us giving us the life force to live and move and have our being in this world as your hands and feet, the hands and feet of Jesus, the body of Christ in this world. And so we assume that role and that place in you and with you and invite you into us and with us this day and every day. Come Holy Spirit, we pray in Jesus’ name, amen.

Www.DailyAudioBible.com, that's home base, that's where you find out what's going on around here. I guess I’ll just mention this one more time. So for the last, I guess week now…and if you missed this, like I said, go back to the 16th and listen to the end where I kind of unpack this major project that we've been developing for two years called the Global Bible Read. After all of this time of development, I've come to this place where we're really, really testing this thing out and it is amazing. The ultimate goal is the day that I come back and we go for it, we go for the whole Bible together. Right now, we're just working on getting the book of John and testing out the system. What we're doing is exactly what the name says, Global Bible Read, getting people from all over the world to contribute a verse so that what we have is the unbelievingly beautiful mosaic of the body of Christ all telling each other the story; because the story is the Bible, the Bible is our story. It’s where we've come from and it also illuminates where we're going. And so you can help out, you are actually needed to contribute a verse. So go to Beta.GlobalBibleRead.com and you can contribute a verse in a matter of about a minute. It takes a couple of minutes to do this. So be a part of history – because really, even though I’m going to stop talking about this once we get this beta test done and we'll go back and just kind of just tweak and fix and perfect – what we're about to do and what we're doing now has never, ever, ever been done before and so you are literally…this isn't like hype. If you've been around for any time, you know by now that I’m not much of a hype guy. This is historic. This has not been done before, and that we get to do this together is monumental in my heart and in my mind. So go to Beta.GlobalBibleRead.com and contribute your verse.

Community Prayer Requests and Praise Reports:

Hello, this Honan M. from Texas. I'm calling to ask for prayer for my son and my two daughters, Daniel M., Maria M., Odelia M. We're still seeking jobs. We need to work in a position. Right now, we're exercising and we're trying to keep healthy. And we need prayer to stay in battle under the blood and we're asking for God's perfect will. Please pray with me: Father, as in your Word, for the Word of God is busy and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword piercing even to the division of soul and spirit and of joint and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intent of the heart. Father, you are the one that calls the things that are dead and who gives life to the dead, cause those things which do not exist as though they did. Lord, open my mind, my understanding that I may understand the scriptures as in Luke 24:45, I am your sheep and I follow you. I listen to your voice. I have eternal life and will never perish. No one can snatch me out of your hand. Father, you are greater than all, in Jesus' name. Guide me to your holy dwelling in your unfailing love. As Exodus 15:13, the Word is very near, it is on my mouth, it is in my heart, so I may obey it. The words you speak are spirit and are life. I will not walk in darkness, but am ever present before you. Lord, as in John 8:12, rescue me in your righteousness and deliver me. Turn your ear to me and save me as in Psalm 72:2. Thank you very much.

Hi, this is Lana calling from Orlando. And I'm really just calling you to tell you all that I love my Daily Audio Bible family. And I can't imagine life without my Daily Audio Bible family. And for those of you who went to the Israel trip, I miss you desperately and think of you every day and truly, truly long to be back with you. And hope you can come to the wedding in March. That trip has really solidified the power of this ministry in my heart and I can feel how we are so connected throughout the world and I just cherish every moment of that and thank God and praise him and thanks for bringing Brian into the lovely, lovely, lovely ministry. And I just wanted to also ask for prayer for a retreat that we're doing at our church. We're having a first women's retreat and we’ve got 100 spots that filled up immediately and we have women that are not even on a waiting list, they just didn't get in. And so I want to pray for the women that did not make it, that they do not feel discarded, or that they are going to be missing out on something. I really want to encourage and pray that they still continue to feel love and that everything that we do at the retreat is spilled out and poured into their hearts and that is an ongoing ministry. I also want to pray for the women that attend the conference that they can become vulnerable but they also learn that the women there are not going to be their saviors. The women there are only there to comfort and guide and be conduits to the greatest power and love on the earth, Jesus Christ. I also ask for prayer for Brian’s upcoming Reframe conferences. We’re trying to get him to Orlando and just pray logistically that things can work out because we have a huge body...

Hello Daily Audio Bible family, it is Dr. John from Jordan, NY. And I have a prayer request kind of near and dear to my heart. It’s my daughter, Phoebe. She is going to be taking the MCAT tomorrow. And obviously I have a vested interest in my daughter going into medicine because there's just not enough good doctors out there, people that are compassionate and caring and will listen. And my daughter is one of those people that's going to be a fantastic physician. And so I’m asking you to pray for peace for her; but more importantly I’m asking you to pray that she will just do so supernaturally well that it’s only by the grace of God and that through his grace that she will achieve this and that it will just be God's mercy and that it will be a testimony to God. So I’m just asking you to pray that this might be a window into her heart to soften it for Jesus. Thank you very much, family. Really appreciate your prayers. Love you guys. Bye-bye.

Good morning, Daily Audio Bible family. Rick from Massachusetts. Thank you, Brian, for this awesome forum. Thanks Matthew from Illinois for that awesome testimony, man. Thank you, Slave of Jesus, for the encouragement, I needed that. Praise you, Jesus, for your completed work on the cross. You paid for forgiveness, healing and wholeness. Let us renew our minds to line up with the Word of God - Romans 12:2. Praise the Lord, our God for Deuteronomy 15:26, He is the Lord who heals us. Praise him for Deuteronomy 30:19, the Lord our God who tells us to choose life. Praise the Lord our God for Psalm 103:2-3, he promises so many benefits and heals all our diseases. Praise the Lord our God who constantly works behind the scenes, Isaiah 45:15. Praise the Lord our God for Isaiah 54:17, he promises no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Praise the Lord our God for Jeremiah 29:11, he has plans for us to prosper us, not for calamity, but for a future and a hope. Praise the Lord our God, Jesus who is always, always willing to heal all of our diseases, Matthew 8:3. Praise the Lord our God, Jesus who paid for all of our sickness and disease on that cross, Matthew 8:17. Praise the Lord our God for 2 Samuel 14:14, for we will surely die like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. Yet God does not take away life, but he plans ways for the banished one; so the banished one will not be cast out. Our God is a good God all the time. He says in James 1:17, all good gifts come from above. 2 Corinthians 1:20 says all his promises are Yes and Amen. God bless you all.

Hi DAB family, my name is Dawn and I'm calling from Canada. I've been part of this amazing community for nearly 2 years now. And I start every day with thanks to Brian and I'm just so thankful for him and this community. I tried many times to call, I lifted the phone and I’ve been ready and I’m just overcome with nervousness and sadness. Just really a sense that I’m going to sound like a babbling idiot and I’ve hung up again. But today is the day and I praise God for that; today is the day that I have the courage to call. I’m just asking today for everyone to lift up my son in prayer. He's 23 and he struggles with addiction. It is a vicious, vicious disease. We are a family of believers. We are a strong family. We love and we support him. We do everything we can, but honestly it has rocked us and it fills us with worry. It tests our faith every day and it breaks our hearts. I would just ask you to lift him in prayer. Satan is knocking on his door every day as he makes the decision to be clean or not. I just thank you all so much. I'm so grateful. Thank you.
