Today is the 2nd of August. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It is my pleasure and a joy to be here with you today, coming to you from the lovely state of Washington, way out west in the northwest in the United States. Good to be here with you today as we begin a brand new week together and the month is still shiny, so it is all new beginnings and I'm glad to be here with you for that. We’ll read from the Modern English Version this week and continuing forward in 2 Chronicles.
Prayer:
Thank you, Father, for another day in your Word and the way that it just penetrates us, the way that it just opens us up like a flower and allows us to receive your goodness into our lives. So we ask, Holy Spirit, that you plant deep inside of us, transforming us, what we've heard today, and that you lead us forward into all truth today that we might walk with you, be with you, friendship with you, intimacy with you in all we do and say. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Hi guys. This is Alleah from Waxahachie, TX and I'm just calling in some prayer requests that I heard from today's podcast. Heather from Northern California, I'm sorry that that happened to your daughter, especially in a Christian school. And I am praying that God - that his Holy Spirit would intervene and straighten everything out so that the healing can begin. I'm also praying for Drew from the Bay Area. I mean, you are a pretty awesome dude. I know that you’ve probably went through a lot in your lifetime, but God has definitely used you to a point where you still are convicted to encourage people. So I am praying for you and for you to get a job. Lastly, it was put on my heart to pray for Becky in Norway because we haven't heard from her in a long time, so I hope she is doing well in her new home in the U.S and just check in. Hi family. It's Drew from the Bay Area. Had to call in after hearing Zekie. Happy birthday dude. You're three years old. Repeat after me: I'm three years old. You sound so great. I mean, you're gonna be a mighty warrior for Jesus. Hey Brian, Jill and all those behind the scenes, thank you for this forum. Thank you for God's Word going out. It's a big encouragement. I was really down and I'm feeling much better now and I know it's because of your prayers. Blessed by Me, the reason I'm calling is because of Blessed By Me. I've been blessed by you, brother. You're an evangelist. You need to get out. You need to speak at other churches. You need to speak to people. You need to speak on the street. People need to hear how much you love God because your love from God through you is magnifying His Word and His love to others. So don't doubt, brother. You are a big impact for the kingdom - a warrior. So thank you. And Slave of Jesus, thank you. Thank you for your encouragement all the time. We're praying for you and your wife, your daughter. Hi Ezekiel, I heard that it was your 3rd birthday. You are an amazing little one. I can remember your mom being in the hospital three years ago around this time and I didn't realize that three years goes so fast. I thought I was with DAB for only two years, but it has been three. So anyway, I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday and you take care. Give a hug to mom and dad and your brothers and sister for me. Bye-bye.
Hi, this is Sharon in California. Please pray for my husband, Brian. He's bi-polar and he also is an alcoholic - recovering alcoholic. He’s been very discouraged lately so I’m asking you saints that you would pray for him and pray that he will really walk with the Lord. He’s met some Christian guys - well, he’s a believer but he ha kind of come into a group of some guys and they’ve been walking with him, so I’m praying that the taste would be taken out of his mouth for alcohol and just pray over our marriage please. We’ve been married for five years, but, you know, it’s kind of rocky because of the drinking and all that. So I would appreciate that. And also please pray for me. It seems like I have a staph infection under my arm pit and I’ve been reading about it. It is very serious, so please pray that it would be healed in the name of Jesus. Thank you so much. God bless.
Hi DAB family. This is Martin. I'm the guy who heads up the French Daily Audio Bible team. First of all, can I say thank you to all of you who pray for us on a regular basis? The ministry is going really well and God has done some amazing things so thank you. Would you pray with me for a friend of mine? She wants to stay anonymous, so we can call her E., but she is suffering from fatigue and insomnia, can’t sleep and it’s just a vicious circle and she’s really suffering. Happy Monday, you DABers. This is Walta, Liberian Walta calling from Charlotte. I am indeed a burning bush for the Lord. For the glory of the Lord, I will not be consumed. Today is just an awesome day! I’m running a little bit behind on listening to the DAB. I think I’m listening to Saturday and I heard Brian talk about baby Ezekiel’s birthday. Happy birthday, baby Ezekiel! I am so surprised and shocked that he’s three. I don’t know why, but it feels like yesterday he was born. And so we love you, Ezekiel, and I pray that God will continue to bless you, that you will grow to be a strong man of God. Also, there was a listener and a caller, her name was Natasha from New York and I’ve not heard from her since I got back from Africa. Natasha, I love you, I missed you. I know your always call in about your daughter in 2009, 2010. I really hope she’s okay. If anybody’s in touch with her, let her know that we love her and I’ve been thinking about her lately. So anyway, it’s Monday. God bless. Oh, my niece is in London, she lives there. She was taken to the emergency room two days ago. Two days ago London time, so like a day ago, and they don’t know exactly what’s wrong with her. Please pray for her abdominal pain __________ right now, but I love you guys. Have a great week.
