Today is August 3rd. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It is good to be here with you today. Love that we can be together like this all over the place, but kind of all in one place centered around this global campfire just allowing God's Word to come flowing over us, inviting his Holy Spirit to speak through His Word. I love that and I'm glad we can be together today. So we’re reading from the Modern English Version this week.
Prayer:
Thank you, Father, for another day in your Word and even as we bring the book of Romans to a close today, we thank you for all that you have spoken through it. So much deep and good work that you have brought to us through this letter to the Romans this year and we thank you for that and we ask that you seal it in our hearts from this day forward so that it continues to change us from the inside out. We thank you, Father, for all that is out in front of us yet to experience in the scriptures this year and invite your Holy Spirit to fully permeate our being, transforming us utterly from the inside out as you shift our hearts and change us into your likeness. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Hi Daily Audio Bible. This is Rick originally from Bellevue, WA. Just first day in Evanston, IL and I'm having my first day at work and I appreciate your prayers and thoughts during that time. I made some big sacrifices. This is a good move for me, I think. The Lord has not told me anything negative. It has all been positive so I’ve gone ahead with this, but appreciate your prayers and thoughts and I appreciate you being there. It's always nice to listen and I appreciate the shout out to Blind Tony, always love his prayers. Anyway, take care all. Thank you.
Hi DAB family. It's Billie from Texas. I was calling to see if you could lift me up in prayer, me and my husband and my family. We will be meeting with our pastor tonight and we will be letting him know that we are going to take a step back from the ministry that we’re in right now so that we can focus on our family and our marriage. We just feel like God has let us know very clearly that he wants us to make sure that stuff is in order and it's been a really, really long time since I’ve been in a church service. It's been so long I really can’t remember exactly when I was in a church service and although I do the Daily Audio Bible and other things at home, I still feel like it is important to be around your other brothers and sisters and be lifted up in prayer and just be able to worship your heart out there amongst your brothers and sisters. We just really feel that God is leading us to focus on that, our marriage and our 4 kids. So if you guys could just lift us up in prayer, we would greatly appreciate it. We thank you so much. I'm calling to ask for prayer for my grandson, Tony, who is in the military in Kentucky and he has a baby here in Missouri that is 1 year old. Even though Tony has seen him, he won't pick him up and he won't hold him, so pray for little Wyatt and pray for Tony. He recently got married too, so pray for his new wife. Thank you. My name is Fatima. I'm calling for my boyfriend, Koron. I called because I want you guys to pray for salvation for him. I want God to soften his heart, to remove the veil from his eyes. God called me a few years ago and our relationship has been struggling since. He has left and we have children together. I just want God to touch him, to save him because I believe God has called him as well and he just can’t hear or see. Thank you. His name is Koron.
Hey Team, this is John just calling to say praise the Lord. He does great things and the gift he has given us is Brian and Jill and the team because we would be so lost. I’ve got a praise report and prayer request, so let me get started. The praise report, yesterday my daughter married. I got to walk her down the aisle. It was freakin awesome. It was godly. It was wonderful and just gives you such an amazing feeling to launch someone to a new life. Jesus launched us into our new lives. Three or four weeks ago, I actually performed the ceremony to marry my son up, so it was good. It is all good. It is because we’re here for him and he loves me, __________, that's all that counts. As far as the prayer requests, the lady that called who miscarried her baby, God, I tell you. It broke my heart. We lost twins 10-12 years ago and we still haven’t recovered. My wife Dana, God bless her, she is an amazing warrior. It's hard and all you can do is trust in God __________. James R., you lost your dad. I lost my dad. I had to __________ the last minutes of his Alzheimer's so he could at least enjoy his last few minutes of his life. I get it, brother. Stay strong. That's about it. We’re still struggling here. Doing a deal trying to keep our head above water and we’re doing the best we can. So for all you all, Biola, Blind Tony, Delta Alpha Foxtrot, Slave of Jesus, the list goes on, right? Pastor Gene, all you guys keep praying. Keep blessing us and make sure that we get this done for the Lord. Stay strong. Stay in the Word. God bless.
Oh, hey DAB community and Brian. This is Jim from Dayton, OH. I had called way back in early March. I was in a pretty bad spot and I just want to thank everybody so much from the bottom of my heart for the prayers and support getting me through a really rough time with some anxiety and depression. My mom passed away and I think it was through the love and prayer and support from the community that helped me get through that as well. Coming back on the other side of that, we’re becoming very close again with my brothers and my family, so I think she is kind of looking down on us and guiding us along. I'm calling today because running into another old bad spot with the depression, anxiety and I have somebody who is very special in my life, Rebecca, and she has kind of stuck with me through thick and thin over the last 2 years and recently it has been hard on her as I go through this cycle of anxiety. So I'm just calling in to ask for some prayer, just some help because I fully believe in the power of love and prayer and this community is just a true godsend. So thank you very much. My prayers to all of you as well. Thank you.
