my step-mom, at 60 yrs old, was just diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer last week. She has never been a smoker or drinker or otherwise. Her body and organs are otherwise healthy. She is going in for surgery at 7:30am in Florida to remove the cancer from her lungs as long as it hasn't spread. If it can be removed she will do chemo after. If they find it has spread, they will stop surgery and do chemo first. Please pray that they open her up to find nothing, a complete miracle. She and my dad are staying positive, just focusing on positive thoughts and saying its going to be perfect. Please lift up my dad as I know this is very hard on him, he lost his mom to cancer just 3 yrs ago. I am also praying this all be used for God's glory, whatever the outcome it would be to glorify him and be a witness to who He is. Thank you!

thank you! Surgery found that it has spread to her other lung, had to stop surgery and she woke up and had to be told that today. Appt tomorrow with oncologist to schedule chemo

My prayers are with your step-mom. For all things are possible through God. I pray for the medical staff and ask God to bless them with the wisdom and direction to completely heal your mom of this. I ask all this in the name of Jesus.
