Christopheaus, I am standing with you in prayer and victory over feelings that make you think you're sinking and noise that gets in your ear. Yes, life and feelings can do that, I understand. Father, I thank you for Christopheaus. I ask You to give him every confidence that You are for him and nothing can be against him. No weapon formed against him will prosper. Let him feed on Your Word. Renew his mind each day. When he struggles to read Your Word, let him listen to DAB. Your Word does not return void. Encourage him to listen to praise and worship music. Encourage him to lift his voice and sing Your praises. Encourage him to pray in the Spirit about anything and everything as he goes through his day. Teach him how to be in constant communion with You. I know this helps me. Set his spirit free to worship You. Jesus, You are the Prince of Peace. Christopheaus, you write that it seems difficult to find lasting peace. Lasting peace is yours through Jesus. Having Him means that it is yours forever. Don't let your feelings deceive you or overrule your thinking. Train your mind to submit to the Word of God. Tell yourself things like: I have peace that will never leave me. Peace is mine. I am walking in the light. I am living in the Truth. The truth sets me free. Speak the Word of God to yourself. It is strong and sharper than any two-edged sword. Read through the Armor of God in Ephesians each day and put it on. It is spiritual armor that will protect you against the schemes of the enemy. I appreciate the reminder that I need to continue to do this myself. For a time, I did it every day. I was ready for battle. I was effective in standing. Now I feel like I'm sitting out, but there again...those are just feelings. The truth is that I am in the battle. I press on towards the prize. Be encouraged, my friend. You are not alone. God will give you the desires of your heart. Rejoice and be glad!! Rejoice in the Lord always, again, I say, REJOICE!! This makes all the difference. Look for someone you can encourage with these words. You will be able to comfort them as you have been comforted. God will use you and you will be a blessing to many. Thank You Jesus!! We stand on Your Word. Your Word is truth. Let us walk in it today and experience all the good things you have prepared for us. We praise You!! Happy Friday!! Note: For some reason I haven't been able to hear the Bible reading today...been clicking on "Listen Now" and nothing happens, but it lead me to register and get on the community prayer board, so that is great!! I will try to log in again later today for the Bible reading. For now, I'm thankful to be given the opportunity to pray for others and let them know I'm standing with them. You are good, Lord!! Your plans for me are good! I ask all this in Your Name, Jesus. Amen and Amen!

DAB family in Christ - thanks for your prayers. Thank you God for faithful prayers like JT and Kris and thankyou for Janel. Your prayers are effective - I find some relief from my physical symptoms and also spiritual help after you've prayed. I've been going through Neil Andersons's Freedom in Christ book which is helpful. I'm afraid in the past I've always been over influenced by my feelings as if they were some kind of 'god' and as you can imagine this has not helped but I realise this must stop and instead resolutely believe the Word and trust in God. I try to read psalms out loud everyday and note down any verses that speak to me and remember to say them to myself. I place myself and my 9 year old son in God's care - "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust." Yes I need to be in constant communication with God and remember how he loves me and my son so much and look away from myself and look to Him. Just wanted to let you know I appreciate your prayers. Great news!! I have been praying for you whenever you come to mind. You have been set free, Christopheus! This is your good news and the good news for all who believe. I am so happy to hear the steps you have been taking. The enemy comes like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. You're right that our thoughts and feelings will try to rule us and at times, we can even seems to worship them. We cannot be deceived. Our thoughts and worship must be on God. He will keep in perfect peace those who keep their minds on Him. That is His Word. We just have to believe it and walk in it. You have such a gift in your young son. Enjoy every moment with him. This life will soon be past. Together, the two of you, can make such an impact on the Kingdom. Talk about those things together like I did with my 4 year old son, yesterday as we went on a bike ride. I talked with him about our Bible lesson at church and how Paul went to preach the good news. I told him we have that same good news, but I can hardly remember the last time I talked to anyone about Jesus. He said, "Well, then I think we should be doing it, Mom." That's right, I said. And then I thought about prayer. Through prayer I do talk to people about Jesus. I am thankful for that. I love to pray for others and point them to Jesus. I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to pray for you. Father, keep reminding Christopheus and his son to fix their eyes on You. You provide for them. You love them. You are always with them and will never leave them. Let them walk in victory. Let them be filled with Your peace and the joy that only You can give. Let them focus on how they can serve others by Your example. Empower them with Your Holy Spirit. Make them bold witnesses for You. Make me a bold witness and my son, too. This life on earth is short and our days are numbered. Help us to make the most of every moment and enjoy each day for Your glory. You are building Your Kingdom and we are Your family. Thank You for choosing us! Thank You for ALL You are and ALL You do! Bless You! Thank You, Jesus. I ask all this in Your Name. Amen!

Just want to let people know how much I appreciate your prayers, understanding and counsel. Without the DAB family I certainly would be having a hard time facing life right now on my own - not least because of the encouragement to focus on God and incorporate things into my life which promote a closer walk. My ear problem, which a few weeks ago was causing a huge amount of distress, is also much improved - never thought it would ever be this good! Thank you Jesus for these people who have prayed for me and for your healing and salvation.
