Today is the 18th of October. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. Greetings to a brand new week and greetings to you from Charleston, SC, where I will be bringing the Reframe message this morning. Looking forward to that. But, before all of that can happen, we will immerse ourselves in the scriptures, spending some time hearing from the Lord through his Word. It’s a brand new week so we will read from the Modern English Version this week, picking up from where we left off yesterday.
Prayer
Father, we thank you for this new week stretching out before us, waiting to be written with the story of our lives, the story of God with us waiting to be told for this week. We invite you fully into it, unimpeded by anything, hindered by nothing. We open ourselves fully to you and invite your Holy Spirit completely within us, guiding us, leading us into all truth. We pray that the gift of your Word would speak mightily into our lives in this coming week. We invite you, Jesus, with your power of resurrection to continue to awaken us and keep us alert, to keep us oriented to God in all things. We pray all of this in your name, your mighty name, Jesus. Amen.

Community Prayers and Praise Reports
Hi, this is Nicole from Maryland. I think I’ve called in once or twice before. But, I wanted to call, listening to Janet from Tennessee, praying just in agreement that, you know, God is merciful. I pray, God, that you would bless her and help her to get through whatever the consequences of the speeding brings in Jesus’ name. I also pray for your sister to be reunited with her husband, Adam. I pray that in Jesus’ name. We pray, Father God, that you would just reunite Janet’s sister with her husband Adam, however you do it. You’re able to do it. There’s nothing too hard for you. I lift up Melissa from Alabama, her nephew who has autism and her other nephew who has alopecia. I pray, Father God, that you would heal them both, God, that you would touch them right now in the name of Jesus by your spirit, Lord God. Heal them, Lord God. We pray in the name of Jesus that you would minister to her family, minister to her sisters Donna and Candy. Give them the strength, Father God. Draw them closer to you, Lord God, so that they would know who you are and who to pray for and who to pray to, Lord God, and how to receive strength from you to get through it all, in Jesus’ name, we thank you. Amen.
Hi friends, this is Antalia Sophia, calling from her home Washington. I haven’t called in awhile, but I just wanted to call in and give an update and ask for some prayer today. To fill everyone in, I was accepted into YWAM to go to Turkey again. I would be headed back to Turkey as I was last year and it would be this January. I recently was diagnosed, finally, after a long journey of trying to figure out what was wrong with me with Lyme disease, chronic Lyme disease. I had many infections. The future, as far as my health, is looking pretty grim. Those close around me are just questioning whether it’s wise for me to go to a different country, a war torn country right now, region of the world, with not being well in health. I would just ask that you would lift me up in prayer that the Lord brings clarity and direction as to His plans for me in this upcoming season of my life. That I would heed whatever I feel His spirit leading me toward. I thank God that I don’t have fear either way, but I do really want clarity right now so I’d still covet your prayers. I heard somebody call in, otherwise had Lyme disease. I just wanted to reach out to you. If you want to email me at sbsabeti@gmail.com and maybe we can bounce off some ideas and just connect. Hello friends. Hey, this is Annette from Oklahoma City. Checking in with y’all. Wanted to tell you how much I love you guys today. Every one of you, I love you. I love you. I love you. Hey, wanted to give a praise report. My stepson, James, who is just 16 now, he went there to the little spot to get a little tune-up on the attitude and find his way. He’s been out a month now and he is doing fantastic. It’s like a whole new kid. I tell you what, I’m just so amazed and I’m so thankful for those of you who may have kept James in your prayers because, I tell you what, it has really, really helped. He’s just been a nice young man, polite, helpful, thankful, and looks like he’s discovered that his life wasn’t near as bad as he might have thought it was. Imagine that. Yep. Okay. I’m thankful for that. Hey, would you guys keep my friends Greg and Kim in your prayers? They are going through a really, really financial tough time. They started off as my next-door neighbor, lost that place, moved into a little travel trailer and we’ve helped them before. Then, they got kicked out of that place because he has an S on his driver’s license for those of you who might know what that means. But, he’s a great guy and he’s changed his whole life and really given his heart to Jesus. Well, he got kicked out of there into what looks like a gravel parking lot, pretty much. Now, they have 2 downed vehicles and they’re down to one. The one that they’re attempting to drive is just down to nothing. Would you guys please keep them in your prayers? They sure need some help. They sure need some blessing. Believe me, Lloyd and I are doing everything …

I haven’t had it in 10 years. Also my situation with my job. I had prayed about some personal things earlier on. Hello, this is Pastor John from Kentucky calling in to introduce myself, first of all. Also want to ask for prayer for the sale of our house in Kentucky so that the Lord will move us to Mississippi and we pray that is quickly or at least the Lord will give us peace and financial blessings in the meantime.
