Today is the 20th of October. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It's a pleasure to be here with you today. It is an honor to be here with you today, but you know what? It's an honor for all of us to be here today. Who would’ve thought that we could all come together, no matter what we’re doing, just check out of the craziness of life, just calm everything down for a few minutes, and center ourselves in the scriptures, knowing that we’re doing this with thousands and thousands of friends and family from all over the world. That is an honor for all of us, so it is good to be here with you today, moving forward in our week, moving forward in the scriptures. We’re reading from the Modern English Version this week and continuing our journey through the book of Jeremiah.
Prayer
Thank you, Father, for this community. Thank you, Father, for the Daily Audio Bible family. Thank you for allowing us to be in each other's lives in big and small ways. Just knowing that we are here together, that we have wrapped ourselves around the world in the rhythm of the scriptures every day and that you shine down upon each of us, that you are personally involved in all of our lives and we are bound together by our love for one another and for you and we are given life because you have given us life and have loved us first, this is beautiful and it is a gift and it is a representation of your kingdom. We are thankful for this time that we live in where there is this technology available to even do this. We’re doing what could not have been done in previous generations. You’ve allowed us this gift, the gift of each other in a tangible way, a way that connects in our hearts. We thank you for your Word which is the center of it all. None of us would be here without this rhythm and this rhythm wouldn’t exist without your Word, the most beautiful tangible gift. We thank you that we can come to it and feed each day and allow your Holy Spirit to reorient our lives, to diminish all of the things that crowd in and that fight for our attention. We have this space and time to push all of that back, and as we come out of this time, things have shifted. We are reoriented. We thank you for this. You are so kind. You have always been present, even in the times when we’re crying out and asking where you’ve gone. You’ve never left us. You would never abandon us. You could never abandon us. You put the breath of life in us. We are your creation. We are your masterpiece and you love us deeply and dearly as a father. Father, we love you back as a community and as each individual person. We love you back. You are mighty. You are glorious. You are infinite. You are all-powerful, but you are also intimate. You are close. You are personal and so we invite you, Holy Spirit, personally into all of the matters of the day before us, everything we touch, everything we do, everything we say and we ask for sweet sleep under your watchful eye this evening. We love you, God. We trust you. We trust you, God. So we invite you fully into everything that we are and we pray these things in the name of the Risen Christ, Jesus, our Savior. Amen.

Www.DailyAudioBible.com is home base. It is definitely where you find out what’s going on around here. We’re on the Reframe Tour and so that is mostly what is going on around here. A couple days from now we’ll have our third Periscope. That will be Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Central Standard Time. We’ve had a couple of these and they’ve been fun and we’re talking our way through the different chapters of Reframe and interacting with each other, so we’ll make plans for that.
Then there is also a Facebook Group that is very active in discussion and I love it. I’ve been there every day. I love it. We discuss Reframe. You will find a bunch of your friends and allies and family members of the Daily Audio Bible there talking and it is a wonderful way to interact. Check that out.
This Sunday that 25th of October I will be in Washington State bring the Reframe message to Columbia Community Church, C3. You can find out their service times. They have a number of services there at
www.Familyfaith.com and I will look forward to being with you this weekend. Those of you out on the West Coast, looking forward to getting out there and spending some more time with you.
Then we will move into November for three consecutive weekends before breaking for the holidays, so November 1st we will be in Louisville, KY at New Song Christian Fellowship. Hello family. Let's pray. This is Candace from Oregon. Dear Lord, we bring before you Bonnie who called in about her son who had come home high, ended up in an emergency room, ended up on possibly a psychiatric med that may or may not be appropriate. We ask you, Lord, to intervene. Thank you that he was caught in doing this, but I pray, Lord, that now, today, whatever is going on now, the appropriate measures would be found and taken, but that you would just work in his heart, Lord. Work in his heart and in his mother's heart. Come in by your Holy Spirit to bring a peace into this household that passes all understanding that could only be from you. We claim this for them in the name of Jesus. We claim the finished work of Christ and rebuke all foul spirits that are attacking and harassing this family. Hi. This is Anna from Maryland. I'm calling to pray for Becky with her son Mario. I'm calling to pray for Craig and the challenges that he's going through, Barney and also Ian as far as work is concerned. Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord, you touch Becky's son, Lord. You touch Mario. Lord, whatever is going through, Lord, you give the doctor that knowledge, Lord, and you heal him, Father. You strengthen her, Lord, and you guide her. Let her know that she is not alone. Touch her with your Holy Spirit, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Lord, you touch Craig. He's going through some challenges and a lot of things are coming his way, but, Lord, you said when the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord picks up and stands against him. Lord, you strengthen him and show him you’re with him, Lord. O Lord, you're acquainted with his sorrow. He cried at the grave of Lazarus. O Father, in the name of Jesus, let him know that he's not alone. Lord, you open up doors for Ian, O Lord. O Father, in the name of Jesus, he's believing you to the end, Lord. You open up doors and windows and you bless him, Lord, in your mighty and special way. You said that you're our provider, Lord. You have your way. O Father, in the name of Jesus, you touch Barney, Lord, and you have your way, Lord, in the name of Jesus. O Father, you bless, Lord. Let your will be done, Father. You open up doors that no man can close. Show your spirit and your power and let him trust in you and, Lord, we’ll give your name the glory and the honor and the praise. Hello Daily Audio Bible. This is Kathleen in Algonquin, IL, the teacher here, and I am calling about my niece Carissa. I think I’ve called in about her before a few months ago, but her back is just absolutely killing her. She ended up having to quit her job as a nurse and Lord knows we need good nurses. She was a good nurse. She just could not continue. She can’t take care of her two little children. She has two very small children that her husband was taking care of or had been taking care of at home. As a nurse she would work a few days on, a few days off and so she was able to care for them the other days and she just cannot even do that. Anyway, they are in a very bad situation with this. At the same time, she has not been in contact with her own mother, my sister, for quite a while. They’ve had a very rocky road their whole life and so I really think that this needs to be resolved and maybe they are all tied together. I don’t know. I just feel this strongly on my heart. Please keep them in your prayers. Her name is Carissa. Her mom's name is Lori. They need your prayers. They need to get back together as a family and they’re both Christians. Theyre both Christians and they need to get this worked out and __________ healing. Thank you so much, Dabbers. I love you, love you, love you. Bye.
Hello fellow Dabbers. This is Wayne from Maine calling, back in the beautiful state of Maine, enjoying that peak foliage season with the bright crisp air and the beautiful colors of the leaves. God is so good to us, guys. I just want to thank you for your prayers. I had a wonderful trip both professionally and personally. It was so cool that I could have you guys in my back pocket. Every morning I would wake up and listen to the Daily Audio Bible whether I was in South Africa or Mozambique or Kenya or Tanzania or Ghana. You guys came with me and I felt the presence of the Lord and I felt your presence there as well. Just coming together and hearing the Word of God on a daily basis is just so amazing. God is so good. As I traveled, I just saw God in so many areas of the world where he is working. He is alive. He is real. He is working in your life. Though we have challenges, I want you to just focus on how good God is to us. So guys, that's it for now. I'm praying for you as I listen. I want you to act justly and love mercy and let's walk humbly with our God. This is Wayne from Maine, cheers.
Good afternoon, Daily Audio Bible family. God bless you all. I am Marie W. calling from Pleasanton, CA and I'm calling in a request of my aunt's grandson. He is living in Oakland and he needs a home. He is being asked to leave his apartment because he had some people stay with him to help them out and now he is being kicked out. He is also a minister of the gospel. He is in Oakland to be a point of light in the city of Oakland, CA. He needs a home. So I pray that we pray together that God will provide. That is what your Word says. You provide, Father. Lord, you make a way when there seems to be no way. Lord Jesus, we pray favor on Brian, that his manager will either relent and have mercy on his situation and understand or, Father, that you would just give him even a better place to live. Lord, we don’t understand sometimes why things happen, but Lord, you do and we thank you, Lord, that you will be glorified in this prayer. In Jesus’ name we pray. Thank you, family.
