Today is October 31st. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It’s great to be here with you today. Wow! This is it, the end of the 10th month of the year 2015 and it is easy to start considering it almost over, because it is, but we have two months. We have a long way to go, a lot to journey through in the scriptures together, but we have made it a long way – 10 months. Well done! There has been so much this year, hasn’t there? So much. We can for sure look back and go wow, I'm not looking at things exactly the same as I used to. God's Word continuing to wash over my life, becoming the rhythm of my life has shifted so much of my orientation to so many things. That is the power of God's Word. So here we are ending another month. This week we’ve been reading from the Names of God Bible which we’ll do today.
Prayer
Father, we thank you for another week in your Word and another month. We thank you for all that you have spoken to us and continue to speak to us. We thank you for the reorientation that continues to happen on a daily basis as this community and being in the scriptures every day becomes the rhythm of our lives. So Father, we thank you for these 10 months that we’ve had and we can hardly wait to see what you will speak in the coming months as we continue the adventure through the scriptures this year. So we invite your Holy Spirit to come fully into everything. You are completely invited into everything. Come Jesus, we pray in your name, amen.

Www.DailyAudioBible.com is home base. It is the website. It is where you find out what is going on around here and today is the last day of this. So for the month of October we were encouraging everyone we could to get multiple copies of Reframe and get groups, discussion groups around it, whether that is your closest friends or your Sunday School, your small group, or just your family, to just get together around this. And we created this resource called the Reframe Films which are beautiful, absolutely beautiful in their cinematic approach and story, but they are also very deeply thought provoking into one of the themes that is in Reframe, kind of force you to go deeper into that. So what we’ve done this month is if you get seven copies or more of Reframe, we’ll send you the DVD free, postage and everything. We’ll send it to you free and then give you a link to download the films as well if you want them digitally. If you get 10 or more copies, we will also throw in another Reframe book, a signed first edition copy of Reframe. So that offer ends today, so if you haven’t had a chance to jump on yet, indeed do. All you have to do once you get your copies is email your receipt to Reframe@DailyAudioBible.com and we will get you hooked up.
Looking at the calendar, this Sunday, which is tomorrow, Reframe will be coming to Louisville, KY, to New Song Christian Fellowship. Www.NewSongLouisville.org is their website, so check it out. Looking forward to being in Kentucky, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. Then next week, the 8th of November we will be in Chattanooga -- www.MissionChattanooga.org is the website there. Community Prayer Requests and Praise Reports
Hello DAB family. This is Candace from Oregon. Let's pray. Lord, we lift up before you these, all of these folks, all who have called in and even those who didn’t. Lord, as we cry out to you and know that you want us to depend on you and look to you for everything always, all the time, because we can’t do anything without you, come Holy Spirit, please come to Rebecca from Michigan, Lord. Thank you that she does have kids on the bus that are enjoyable, her high school and middle school and her other elementary schools, but Lord, would you come? Would you intervene in the case of this bullying child? Help her to just remain calm and firm and steadfast in this time and please give her good sleep, sleep that just has no stress at all associated with it, Lord. Just by your miraculous power, we ask this. Be with Jodi from North Carolina, please, Lord, to give justice and appropriate help from the justice system in regard to a repeat offender she has been involved with. I pray for safety for her and her children and a changed heart in this man, please, God. I pray, Lord, for Tiffany. Please give her a better job. I pray that this job that is not good, that she would quit, that she would find something much, much better for herself and her child. We ask these things in Jesus’ name.
Hello Daily Audio Bible family. It's Sheila from Massachusetts. Hope you are all having a wonderful, grace-filled day. I'm calling. I listened to October 28th today. It is the 28th and at the end Brian was talking about we can’t beat people over the head in order to convert them to our faith. I must confess, I'm on the opposite end where I so often hold my tongue and don’t proclaim the name of Christ or someone is talking to me and I know that at the moment I can say it's going to be okay, trust in God, he's got our backs, he's got all of our backs, and do you know about Jesus? I could be talking about him and I could be entering some comfort into their life and maybe intercede or having a light go on for someone and I don’t. I don’t. I have to ask myself why. Is it because I don’t trust the Lord? I'm always ‘oh, I can’t do that. It's my job place. I'm afraid to lose my job. What if they get upset with me?’ I want you to just pray for me that as I grow in my faith and I become stronger in Christ and my relationship is providing so much for me that I learn to share that with others, that I have that switch in my brain that says God really does have my back, it means something when I'm telling myself this: You can trust him. You can spread his name. So please pray for me that I continue to grow in relationship with Christ and continue to rest in his strength and share it with others without fear and know that when people attack me, that they are really not attacking me. They are persecuting Christ. I know these things intellectually. Help me bring it to my heart. Family, thank you for praying for me. Barb, I do pray for you and your son and your daughter.
Hello DAB family. This is Richard from Mississippi. I have a prayer request for my son Zachary and my son Jeremy. My son Zachary is living with a girl and he is away from the Lord. I know that he had at one time lived for the Lord. And then I ask you to pray for my son Jeremy. He's in a difficult situation with my first wife. He is living with her and he is very unhappy. I just ask you to pray for my two children, that God would bring them back to a loving relationship with him and that your will be fulfilled, that the enemy would be rerouted to not attack them or bring them down. But I know that happens, but I just pray for God's sovereign will in their lives. In Jesus’ name I pray. Thank you. __________.

Hello Daily Audio Bible family. This is Ozzie James in Japan calling. It's a beautiful autumn day here in Japan. I'm just calling really to ask for prayers for myself and my wife. Over the last two years God has been giving us some visions and we’ve been heading towards those visions, but at the moment I'm getting a few mixed messages coming in and I just want absolute certainty that we’re heading in the right direction in those visions. So I just ask that you would remember me in your prayers. Also, just like to give a shout-out to Pelham from Alabama, wondering how you're going, bro? How you and Molly are going and I'm praying for you. And also to Michael D. in Texas. Haven’t heard from you for a while. And a big thanks to Slave of Jesus for his prayers for Japan.
