Ezekiel 16:42-17:24 ~ Hebrews 8:1-13 ~ Psalm 106:13-31 ~ Proverbs 27:7-9

Today is November 7th and you are at the Daily Audio Bible, so if you were looking for something else, you should probably stay here. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian. It is great to be here with you as we turn the corner and head into the end of our week. We’ve been reading from the New Life Version this week, which is what we’ll do today as we finish off the week.

Today is a travel day because we’ll be in Chattanooga (not that they talk like that there – they talk more like Chattanooga (southern accent) or something similar to a southern drawl, which I’ve never quite developed as long as I have lived here in the South). I am looking forward to seeing y’all in Chattanooga tomorrow, but before all of that can happen, we’ve got to immerse ourselves in the scriptures. We are reading from the book of Ezekiel and some powerful stuff in the book of Ezekiel revealing the heart of God and there is much more to come.

Prayer

We thank you, Father, for another week in your Word and what a week it has been. We thank you for revealing your heart to us and showing us the gravity of the choices that we make and the ways in which they affect you. We have just always considered you the constant, the aloof one, the all-powerful one, the one deserving of our worship, but the one disconnected when actually you are more connected than we can possibly imagine. Your breath of life is in us. We are made in your image. You have loved us beyond love that we can even comprehend. You continue to reveal yourself in your Word and it continues to reframe what we think we know about you. We want that to continue all the days of our lives. We want to be continuing on this path in several million years, getting to know you, being with you, enjoying life together in relationship. So we release this week by asking your Holy Spirit to plant your Word deep in our hearts and we looking forward with great anticipation to everything that you have for us in the coming days. Come Holy Spirit, we pray, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Community Prayer Requests and Praise Reports
Some people have big problems like no arms and no legs. Some people have small problems like they can’t find their keys. Some people pray that their dogs will have pups while others pray for a cure for their disease, but it doesn’t matter, big or small, one thing is common to us all. God cares. He's always there and he never gives you more than you're able to bear. But sometimes, like the disciples in the boat on the water, our thoughts get confused, filled with fear and disorder and we feel swamped, overwhelmed, about to go down. Their boat was filling with water and they thought they were going to drown, but Jesus was with them. He was sleeping right there. They woke him up in a panic and said, “Master, you don’t care that our boat is being overwhelmed and is about to go down? We’re about to hit the water and we’re all going to drown.” He looked at them with amazement and said, “O ye of little faith,” because they still hadn’t grasped the essence of the message that as long as God is with you, you're always safe. Then he said, “Peace, be still” to the winds and the water and everything around them returned to a sense of divine order. The disciples stood amazed at this display of awesome power that even the storm didn’t have enough strength to devour. We too at times get overwhelmed and we feel like we’re going down. The winds and waters are swirling and it looks like we’re about to drown when we really need to rebuke the devourer because Jesus gave us all power. We need to speak “peace, be still” to our winds and our water. At least internally we can have a sense of divine order because the storms of life are going to come with their winds and waters cold, but if God is truly with you, it is still well with your soul. Hello everyone. Good morning. It's Jay calling from New Jersey. You guys are so wonderful. Every time I hear your voices it is like hearing a brother or a sister or a mother or a father, an uncle, a cousin talking to me from far away and letting me know how they’re doing and seeking my help spiritually. Thank you, guys, for this connection that I can’t get any other way. Thank you for this spiritual family that strengthens me through their prayers and fights these battles with me through the Word. You guys are going to have an amazing day today because I'm going to pray that you have an amazing day. Heavenly Father, I thank you now for your power, your mercy, your grace and the precious gift of your son Jesus Christ. Mighty God, we thank you now for this opportunity to live the life in the light of your grace. Father, we know that life is not perfect and we know that there will be trials and tribulations, but today, Father, I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that this will be an amazing day, an awesome day, a life-changing day, a day of joy, a day of peace, a day of uplifting spirits, a day of happiness, a day of seeing through the clouds, a day of seeing the sunlight while walking in the rain. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ and that, above all things, your will, Holy Father, will be done. Amen. Family, I love you and I pray that you will have an amazing day.

I am a burning bush that will not be consumed for the glory of our God and King. This is Walta calling from Charlotte. Today is a beautiful rainy day in Charlotte. I say beautiful because it reminds me of my home country, Liberia. Today I'm reminded that God is the creator, the engineer of our hearts. Many of us are going around with broken hearts, with fear in our hearts, with amputated hearts. God is just reminding me today that he is the creator of all things. When you own a car, let's say you own a BMW and you really want it to be repaired well, you would take it to an expert in BMWs. Well, your heart was created by God and he can heal our hearts. Father God, we come before you, O Lord, and we place our hearts before your throne. We say have your way, Father God. We pray that you will reconstruct and renew our hearts. Renew our hearts. Lord, we pray that you take away the hurt and bring in your love, God, your unconditional love, your liquid love, pour into our hearts like pure gold. May your name be exalted in everything we do, in Jesus’ name. We ask, God, how can I please you? He says trust me. Just trust me. Have faith in me. Without faith you can’t please God. With faith you can definitely please him and he will see you through. I love you guys. I miss you a lot. My silence is not my absence. It is just I’ve been deep in thought, I guess. I love you guys. Bye.

Good morning family. This is Soldier, 2 Timothy 2:3-4. An incredible miracle was wrought by God in my life yesterday. Arguments occur. Disagreements occur. Family members scrape at each other. Scars are incurred and it hurts. It hurts so badly. But, as usual, the Lord spoke to me through the words of a song. This is by Andrew Peterson. I don’t know if it can help you, but I felt led to read these to you. I want to say I'm sorry, but I don’t know how, but I'm sorry. I'm so sorry now. I said some words to you I wish I’d never said. I know words can kill because something is dead. Now my heart is like a catacomb and I'm praying we can find a way to raise these bones again. Oh again I want to say I'm sorry, but it’s not enough to close the wounds I’ve opened up, so now I’ve got this sorrow and you’ve got that hurt and we can’t go back to who we were. Oh, but could that mean I'm someone new? Maybe I can love you better than I failed to do? Before the war they’ll tell you everything was beautiful and pure, but there was poison in the well from years before and now I'm cleaning up this wreckage on the shore and I don’t want to fight with you no more. So I want to say I'm sorry that I drew the line. I built the wall. The fault is mine. And maybe now the only way to find some peace is just to give it time and trust in grace. So this is my communion hymn. I want to sit beside you at the feast, my friend, again and again. I love you family.

Hello. This is Malisha from Arlington, TX. I am praying and believing God to heal my body, so I ask that you touch and agree with me with that healing. Be anxious for nothing but in everything, prayer and supplication, let my requests be made known to God with thanksgiving. I'm very grateful for where I am right now in my life. Things could be a whole lot worse, but they’re not, so I'm asking for prayer. I have a total of two major surgeries to go through, one is going to be done tomorrow and then the other one is going to be done later on. I have I think five or six different minor procedures that have been taking place or will be taking place. So anyway, I'm just asking for prayer and thank you so much. God bless everyone. I'm standing in the gap for everybody that is in need of prayer. I know Jehovah Rapha is the healer, so God bless everybody that needs healing. Jehovah Jireh is provider. God bless everyone that needs provision for their family. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen. Thank you, Brian and Jill and everyone behind the scenes for this ministry. Bye-bye.

Hey Daily Audio Bible family. It's Sissona in Texas, Dallas-Ft. Worth area. I just wanted to thank you guys for whoever prayed for me and my brother that lives in Panama. Anyways, he was found. He had been missing for a while and he had been doing drugs. So he was found and he initially wanted to get treatment and was willing, but then he didn’t want to end up going when it came down to it. So if you would just keep him in your prayers, for his family and my little niecey, I would really appreciate it. Also, I did pray for you guys. Every time I listen, I __________ often. One more prayer request – I have a friend who is starting to have some symptoms, cardiac symptoms where she feels like her heart stopping. I'm a nurse in the ICU so told her to call her doctor, but if you would just lift her up in prayer, I would really appreciate it. I didn’t ask her permission to give her name, so I'm not going to give it, but the Lord knows who she is and I thank you guys for whoever prays for her. Thank you. Love you guys. Bye.
