Ezekiel 33:1-34:31 ~ Hebrews 13:1-25 ~ Psalm 115:1-18 ~ Proverbs 27:21-22

Today is the 16th of November. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I’m Brian. Great to be here with you, coming to you from San Diego area. We had a great time yesterday at La Jolla Christian Fellowship. Thank you for so many of you who came and who showed up and who drove in and what an honor. Really, really, touching. What an honor to have time among this community. Truly blessed. Thank you. So we’ll be heading back to Nashville tomorrow. We have a couple meetings and a few things to do here and then heading back to Tennessee, so greetings from the West Coast. We’re reading from the New International Version this week.

Prayer

Father, thank you once again for your Word and as your Word has encouraged us today, we place our trust in you. You are our help and our shield. We ask you to guard and shield our hearts where everything in life flows out from, just like we were talking about yesterday. We so often look at you and claim these promises or declare these verses from the scriptures against something that is external to us, like you will be our shield and beat up the bad guys. What we need is for you to be the shield of our hearts so that we might walk with you, shielded by you in our hearts because then everything that happens, all of the drama of life is put into its proper perspective. We are shielded. We are guarded. We are loved. We are bestowed with an identity that no one can touch because it is beyond human reach. It is with you and you alone. So come Holy Spirit. We put our trust in you. Our trust is in you and you are our help and our shield. We pray that this would be true of us, more true than anything. Come Holy Spirit, we pray, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Announcements

Www.DailyAudioBible.com is the website. It is where you find out what’s going on around. So, yeah, we had a great time yesterday concluding the 2015 leg of the Reframe Tour. Wonderful time, in fact. Very much enjoyed it. So we’ll be spending the day here in Southern California and then heading back to the rolling hills of Tennessee and kind of staying put a little bit, not so much travel. Some travel, but no more touring travel for the year. So thank you for all of you who have come out over the last six weeks of traveling. It has been wonderful. I'm looking forward to seeing more of you out on the road next year.

Community Prayer Requests and Praise Reports

Hey Daily Audio Bible. This is Kimmie from Texas. First off, I just wanted to call and thank all the veterans who have served this country, all you who have made such a sacrifice. I wanted to let you guys know that we appreciate it, even if you aren’t told every day. And I wanted to call in today – today isn’t Veteran’s Day but the day after, November 12th, and the people who had called on the prayer line that day were really great. Ellie from Massachusetts, you called about anxiety and I really appreciate that. Anxiety is something I struggle with and it was a great reminder, the verses. I think it was a month or two ago someone called in for your wife, she has Lyme disease. I just wanted you to know I'm praying for her and thinking about you guys often. Let us know how she is doing. I guess that is about it for today. I hope everybody has a great weekend. Love you all. Bye.

Hi DAB. This is Matthew from Australia. I haven’t called in a really long time. I said many times this year that I would catch up and I didn’t catch up. It's been a busy year. There has been a lot of transition for me, a lot of struggling still with the addiction I spoke about earlier on the new year. I'm just seeing more and more how God is leading and how God is using my circumstances to make me more and more into the person that he wants me to be. So I just picked up at November 12th. I just listened to that and I'm just really encouraged by scripture and by Brian's prayer. So I'm going to try to stick it out with the rest of you for the rest of the year, listening for the rest of November and December. I think that will just be really fantastic. I'm just trying to figure out now what to do next year. A few doors have opened up as far as Christian ministry goes and I'm not really sure which one to go through. A couple internships and even an international opportunity to travel elsewhere in the world and do Christian work. So I'm just trying to figure out what to do next year, so you can be praying for me for wisdom and discernment. Also just continue praying for my spiritual health as __________ with the Lord's help. Thank you very much all. I love you all. Bye-bye.

Hey Dabbers. This is Slave of Jesus. Alright, Holy Spirit, let's roll. Lord, we ask you to watch over Soldier. That was a great – I think it was the Sorry lyrics that I heard from you, so it was good hearing from you. I haven’t heard from you in a while. I ask God to watch over him, in Jesus’ name. Other great lyrics, Blind Tony, as always, like hold onto the master, hold on. I loved hearing that one, so thank you for sharing that with us, Blind Tony. Lord, I ask you to watch over Sam from Vancouver. I know he called in, but he sounded a little tired so, Lord, I ask you to give him strength. I ask you to lift up him and his entire family. I ask all these things in Jesus’ name. Speaking of that, who else wasn't feeling too well? Oh, you know, you guys don’t realize, some of the newcomers coming in, there is a Daily Audio Bible Teen, Tween and Kids. I know there is some tactical stuff going on, but we really need to pray over Brian's kids for these things. I think it is Max and China, I don’t know who else does those types of things, but, Lord, I ask you to watch over them and give them health from sickness. There are some great words of wisdom. If you have kids or whatever, have them listen to that thing. Have them call in and give that encouragement. Can you imagine the kid doing this every single day? I think that is just so overwhelming and amazing, but they need some support and they may need some lifting up, so I ask all those things in Jesus’ name. Finally, Cory from West Virginia, yeah, God __________. God does absolutely want you to stay together. God does not want anyone to be divorced. That is what the Word says. So, Lord, I ask you to give Cory from West Virginia some wisdom of how to handle this situation, how to turn this over to God, and how to fight for his marriage, how to go out there and just do everything he possibly can to fight. There is a Love Dare. Look it up. What a great thing to do. Thirty days. I’ve done it with my wife a couple times. She didn’t know I was doing it, but that is kind of the whole point. If you haven’t seen the movie Fireproof, rent it for a dollar and follow that. I don’t know, maybe you’ll have a miracle in your life. I ask all that in Jesus’ name. Love you all. Have a great day.

Hi Daily Audio Bible family. This is Sally from Massachusetts. I just felt led to call in and let people know who listen and don’t call in that I am praying for you. I pray for you collectively, your needs. God knows your wants and desire. Those of you who do call in and you feel guilty because you are measuring what you're asking God for against somebody else's problems that seem just far larger than yours, you don’t need to feel guilty. You have something on your heart and you're asking __________ faith in God and that is just as important to him as somebody's tragedy that they are dealing with. So you go right ahead and you call and you ask for prayer because God is moving in your life. I love you all, family, and have a great day.

Hello Daily Audio Bible family. It's Chris from London, living in an attitude of gratitude today. I want to ask you all what you're grateful for today. Yeah, I just thought I would call in. I'm so grateful that we get to pray over this line. It has been so long. I haven’t called in a long time, but I'm calling in for prayer for my mom. She has an operation coming up there has been a bit of frustration with that. I know God can control, but I thought, you know what? Let me call the Daily Audio Bible prayer line and get friends and family to pray for my mom's operation, that it go smoothly and God's will would be done. Thanks all and make it a great day. Bye.
