Daniel 6:1-28 ~ 2 Peter 3:1-18 ~ Psalm 119:129-152 ~ Proverbs 28:21-22

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. Today is November 29th. A brand new week, shiny and sparkly and waiting for us to enter into. Man, we’ll be switching months during this week into the final month of the year. So this new week we’ll read from the New American Bible, the Revised Edition.

Prayer

Father, we thank you for your Word and we thank you for this brand new week to live into your Word and to allow your Word to be the canopy over us, informing our decisions, our actions, our lives, all of the things and issues of our hearts. We invite you into this week and we long for you. We long for the counsel of your Holy Spirit. We long for your presence and we make ourselves present to you. We long for relationship. We long to be as we were created to be, in fellowship with you, and so we invite you. Come, we need you. We want you. Our desire is for your presence. We want to walk with you, so come, Jesus, we pray. We are open to you. We love you and we worship you. We pray these things in your name. Amen.

Announcements

Www.DailyAudioBible.com is home base. It is the website. It is where you find out what is going on around here and it's Christmastime, so that is a lot of what is going on around here. The Daily Audio Bible Christmas Box is available, chockfull of goodies, some things for you, some things for you to give away, so check that out at the Daily Audio Bible Shop at www.DailyAudioBible.com.

The Daily Audio Bible Christmas cards are available and they are $5 for 25 of them, so check those out at www.DailyAudioBible.com as well.
And we are happy to launch and announce our Women's Conference coming up in April. It's called More – A Gathering for Women and it is going to be epic. So I'm telling you guys right now, if you want to get creative and give your wife something that will long, long, long outlast any material thing, then check this out. Send her away for a couple of days where she doesn’t have any obligations or responsibilities but to find her heart and remember who she is and be away with God to hear with clarity because space is created for it. We have to fight for that so hard in our lives, just to find space. This is that space. It is amazing. So you can check that out. And all of you ladies, early registration is open. It will be until the end of the year. This is as inexpensive as we can possibly make it. Check it out at www.MoreGathering.com. We’ll look forward to seeing you there.

It is also time to call in your Christmas greetings for the Daily Audio Bible Family Christmas, this beautiful program that we put together every year. Man, I have never gotten through one of those where I haven’t felt deeply, deeply moved at the grace and beauty of God in our community each year. So all you have to do is use the prayer line, (877) 942-4253, and just call in holiday wishes and you’ll see what a beautiful tapestry that turns into. The only rule about it is since it is the prayer line, don’t call in a Christmas greeting and a prayer request in the same call because there is just no way we can edit them separate. Call in a Christmas greeting and if you have a prayer request call that in separately.

If you want to partner with the Daily Audio Bible, you can do that at www.DailyAudioBible.com. The link is in the upper right-hand corner of the home page. Thank you for clicking that link. If you prefer, the mailing address is P.O. Box 1996, Spring Hill, TN 37174.
And, as always, if you have a prayer request or comment, (877) 942-4253 is the number to call.
That's it for today. I'm Brian. I love you. I’ll be waiting for you here, tomorrow.

Community Prayer Requests and Praise Reports

Good evening, my Daily Audio Bible family. This is Mark S. from Sydney Australia. Just wanted to ring in with a praise report today, I just had to call. I had the great experience of God directly answering a prayer. The story was I’ve got quite a controlling boss that can be quite nasty at times. I was on my way and I'm one day behind on listening to the Daily Audio Bible and I still haven’t listened to the Community Prayer from Sunday, but I was walking my daughter to school and then on my way back from walking her to school toward the bus I had prayed to God and said, look, God, what do you want me to do with my boss? I was at the point of feeling like I was going to come to conflict with him. I got on the bus and I was listening to the 24th of November's podcast and to my surprise, well, I shouldn’t be surprised, I suppose, because we believe in God, one of the readings from Saint Peter was talking about being respectful to your bosses and Brian's little talk at the end emphasizing that we need to respect our bosses even if they treat us wrong. Now if that wasn’t an answer to prayer, I don’t know what was. That was quite amazing to me. It is more a praise report today. This will be my first full year through the Bible. I started listening in August 2014, so this is my first full year. Brian, things have certainly changed a lot for me and I thank all you, your team for everything that you're doing. I thank all the prayer warriors and for the…

Hi everybody. It's Laura from Southwest Florida and I feel I’ve been led to call in some encouragement for the working moms out there, which I am one also. I’ve heard a few of your calls and it has been really touching me. So I have a prayer for you. Dear God, today I lift up all the working moms of the DAB. You know their names and have numbered every hair on their heads. Show us how much you love us and care about us and our families. May your love flow through us at home and work. Help us to dedicate and work our work both at home and at our jobs to you, O Lord. You are our boss as well as loving Daddy and we want to please you. Help us to wait for you, Lord, for you will change and renew our strength and power so we can lift up on wings and mount up close to you, God, as eagles mount up to the sun. We will run and not be weary and walk and not faint or become tired. (Isaiah 40:31.) I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving and I’ll talk to you again soon. Bye.

Hello community. This is Jamie from Wisconsin and it’s a first time caller after a few years of listening. I wanted to thank you for all of the prayers and all of the work that you are doing. I'm specifically calling for those who are debating getting off pain medications, for whatever reason that dependency and addiction are there in your life. I'm calling to offer prayers and support because I am on day 6 and God has been so good. It sucks and it hurts, the withdrawal, but anyone considering a change in their life and feel that nudge of God telling them that they need to make a change, go ahead and do so. God is there and he loves you and he has you in his wings. He will give you the strength to get through each and every day. Just call upon his name, submit yourself in prayer, and give it all to him and he will be there to comfort you and guide you in the process that you need to do. I pray all of these things in Jesus’ name. Do not fear. Thank you. Have a wonderful, blessed week.

Hi family. This is Pastor Gene from Bradenton, FL. Let's pray. Father, I thank you very much for the trials and tribulations that bring us closer to you. I pray for my own trials and tribulations at work and ask for the guidance and the strength of your Holy Spirit to maintain a spirit of gratitude and joy and learn anything and everything that you have to teach me through this trial. Father, thank you for my sister Jocelyn from Arizona and her son Norman. I pray that you will protect his little body, his little mind, and that you will help them travel through these waters, Father, because you will never leave us alone. Father, I rejoice with my brother Slave of Jesus’ new job. I pray for your continued blessings upon him, his family, his marriage. I pray for my sister Lori from Bakersfield, CA. I praise you for her son Nick. I pray for his relationship with God, the rebirth of his faith. I am believing for his full healing and I pray that this training will bring him and the rest of her family closer to Christ. Father, I thank you for my sister Casey from Calgary. I praise God for college. I praise him for her roommate. Father, I am praising you for your hand of victory upon my sister. Father, I pray for my sister Jill whose son is addicted to heroin. She says that nobody gets left behind. I pray that your Holy Spirit will intervene and I am believing for his full deliverance and that he will be completely devoted to Christ. I pray, Father, for my brother Richard C. Father, I pray for the return of his foster kids according to your perfect will. I pray that you will grant him and his wife peace and that you will reassure my brother of your forgiveness and that you are the God of new chances. I thank you for Kelsey from Massachusetts. I welcome her to the intercessory and encouragement portion of the DAB and I pray that you will continue enriching her walk with Jesus. I pray all these things in Jesus’ mighty name.

Hello fellow Dabbers. This is Wayne from Maine calling wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. We live in a beautiful time in a beautiful world full of God's mercies and grace. So let's always think about that during this time. I wanted to reach out to Daniel J. Jr. I heard your phone call, my friend, and I just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you and your situation. You are a pillar in this community and I always have appreciated your calls, the comments that you make. I remember for years now listening to you and the comments you make and I just wanted to let you know that you are loved by the people of the community and we will lift you up, that God be with you, he surround you during these hard situations and I pray that during this time you will draw closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. That's it for now, my friends. Please remember to act justly, to love mercy and let's walk humbly with our God. This is Wayne from Maine. Cheers.
