Please pray for Rick
|
|
Heavenly Father, I lift Rick up to you. Please purify his heart, his mind, and his soul. Help him through this transition and ease the pain he is feeling. Father, help him to let go of this loss that he feels and trust that you know what is best for him. Help Rick to look forward to what is in store for him and help him trust in you.
I praise you that you are all knowing and can see the big picture that he cannot see. I trust that you hold his life in your hands. Help him to want to live his life to glorify you. Please help him open his mind to you so that he does not limit what you can do in him and through him because he does not have an adequate vision of what your heart desires to accomplish through him.
Father God, please take away things from Rick’s life that are not of you. Please remove people, places, events, and situations in his life that you have not put here. I pray that these things will become unpleasant to him and that he will not want them in his life. Help him to turn away from them. Please plant new desires in Rick and grow new interests in him that you want fulfilled in his life. Nurture them in Rick and grow these dreams in him. Refine him. Help Rick to want to live your will for his life and help Rick draw closer to you. Help him feel your presence and help him to recognize your voice and discern your voice and guidance from his own thoughts.
Lord, thank you for the work that you have given Rick that brought him to where he is today. I pray that you will empower him to do great things for you and your glory. Give him the strength and abilities he needs to see it through to completion and help him to stand strong against any opposition. Help Rick to recognize the lies of the enemy and strengthen him to resist them.
Please establish the work of his hands as you move him into his future.
