Terms and Conditions are one of those things that we wish we never had to address because anything written up like a terms and conditions list is first of all quite boring and second of all assumes the worst. That's just not how we approach life or ministry. Over the years we've run into all sorts of little issues. Any time you have a lot of people in the same place you invariably run into some sort of conflict here or there. These terms and conditions just help us have a platform from which to operate. It helps everyone (including us) know the approach we will take if and when different issues arise. From time to time we'll reflect upon and modify this document and we reserve the right to do that as we grow and learn. Please know that beyond all of this is a deep desire to provide a safe place for people to lay their heavy burdens down and find rest safe among friends. It's also our hearts desire to walk with God in everything that we do and say. If you are in agreement with that, you're probably never going to have to think about anything on this page.
Privacy Statement
The Daily Audio Bible and the WindFarm will never share your information with any third party. As a part of this community your privacy is important to us not just because it's our policy but because you're a part of the family here. We just don't go passing out community information so that companies can try to get you to buy their wares. You'll only ever hear from us directly.
Acceptable Use Policy
The following guidelines are to help all the users of the web site to share opinions in a constructive manner. Document editors and forum moderators will use these guidelines when deciding what content should feature on our site.
Articles
Articles published on the web site should be consistent with the vision and values of the Daily Audio Bible and the WindFarm Prayer Initiative. These values are outlined in the "About Us" section of the site. The author should ensure to the best of their ability that information is accurate, truthful and appropriate for the intended readership. The author should ensure that they are not infringing any copyright restrictions (on text or images) when writing articles for this web site.
Forums
Forums are provided as a facility for site members to exchange views and messages. All users should recognise that comments made in the forums reflect not only on themselves but also on the DAB Family as a whole. Forum messages must not be used to bring the Daily Audio Bible into disrepute.
Forums are social environments and the normal rules of social interaction apply. The remoteness of the recipients must not be used as an excuse to communicate in an anti-social manner.
Examples of unacceptable behaviour are:
Inappropriate, offensive or obscene language
Personal criticism, sarcasm or belittling of other users
Harassment, intimidation or aggression
Lying or giving deliberately misleading information
Deviation from the spirit of a conversation
Users should not contribute to a forum topic unless their contribution is intended to further the aims of the topic.
Forum messages reflect the views of the individual, not the views of the DAB. However the spirit of a discussion topic should be consistent with the values and vision of the DAB, and discussions that are considered inappropriate for this environment may be removed.
Personal exchanges should take place directly (i.e. using e-mail), not by posting to a forum.
Copying or forwarding of private information to a forum posting (without the original author's explicit permission) is a breach of privacy and should not take place.
Forum moderators are able to remove any messages that do not meet the above guidelines. It has always been our intention to provide the best community experience we can possibly undertake while being sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. The administration team may at any point remove a post from the forums that seems to be leading in an inapropriate direction. Censorship isn't our goal here, harmony is. If something is removed it was first discussed among the leaders. None of the leadership community acts unilaterally. If for some reason a post is removed, the poster will more than likely be contacted personally.

Making a Purchase

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Delivery Policy
Shipping and handling rates are dependent on what you buy and where the items are to be sent. You will be notified of the cost of shipping during the checkout process.
Digital Media
Each item sold for download is clearly marked as such. No refunds will be given on the sale of any digitally downloadable product.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Returns Policy
The Daily Audio Bible is a small organization structurally so we don't have a returns department. All orders are checked before they ship for defective goods. If for some reason your order arrives damaged or defective you can return the item within 7 days. Please note: we only accept returns of items that have been opened if they are defective. To return an item, please enclose a note giving the reason for the return, wrap the package securely and send the package to the address above. In the case of a defective product, please provide a full description of the fault and return the defective item in its original box (if any). Then send the package to the address above. After 7 days the sale is final. Sales are automatically final on all downloadable merchandise including all music, readings and teachings.
International Orders
When ordering goods from us for delivery outside of this country you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.
Additionally, please note that when ordering from us, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
