The Hope of Prayer

I have just finished listening to the Oct 30th podcast. Once again, Brian made me feel as though he was speaking directly to me. I know, join the club. LOL
If listening to the Word as well as Brian's commentary wasn't enough, the caller who asked for prayer for her father and his flesh eating disease issue, I realized, it is not just that I have GOD in my life, but I have the hope of pray in my life.
I realized that GOD in all His majesty and glory is worthy of my praise and worship. Even if I do not accept Jesus as my personal Savior, I must open my eyes and see the magnitude of His power. But, on top of that, Jesus has redeemed me by the power and unconditional love of the Cross AND He acts as my High Priest before the Father.
When time are good, I praise GOD. When times are difficult, I praise GOD. When things are horrible, one of the reasons I can survive is because I know GOD is always here with me; knowing my needs before I speak them! There are so many trillions and trillions of things that we think we have control over. We are such fools. But, the good news is that GOD IS IN CONTROL, and even if we don't like the answer to our prayers all the time, we still know we have a loving Father and Brother in Jesus, and the Spirit as our Comforter to get us through these unbearable times.
Dear GOD,
Thank You for loving us so much; thank You for always being here for us and never forgetting us. Help us to continue to keep our faith and walk with you through the rough and roughest times in Your peace and love.
