Need Encouragement?

Lonely and a bit scared.

Hey, Gang.
Just needed some kind words. I am new to the DAB and have some concerns and wanted to see if anyone could help with some advice/suggestions.
I have a great group of long time, loyal friends who I love and pray for daily. Problem is, I know that some of them are not going to understand the changes that I am making in my life. I don't know if they will support me in focusing on my life with Christ. I hope and pray they'll support me, but I'm scared I'll lose them. I know this isn't going to be an easy journey and am thankful for the work it is going to take, but the thought of losing my friends scares me.
I'm working hard and am detirmined.
Lonely and scared in Atlanta.
Any advice or prayers would be appreciated. God Bless and much love.

A little more information, please. What is the reason that they would be lost to you? The only reason I can think of is if you were not loving them. If you are not loving them, then how is it you are after Jesus. The two don't seem to be possible to me.

Hi, Ray.
I will ALWAYS love and pray for them. What I meant was that I know some of them don't understand or know God and may not support the changes I am making in my life. No more bars, going to church, focusing on my life in Christ and all that involves.
Does that make sense?
Again, this is new to me.
