Praying for all you teachers out there... Here in Texas we have a little over 6 weeks left. My motivation level is certainly waning and I just pray I can finish the year strong. Ok, time to get ready for the day now...

Tom~ Thank you so much for all your words of encouragement and for your prayers for the teachers here. It is so encouraging to come here and see someone is praying for us. A teachers day can be long and without anyone saying thank you. I appreciate you writing here in this space... :)
And Jenna! It was so wonderful to hear you this week! You sound great and I am praying for your student and his heart. It's difficult to say good-bye to students, but God has him, we know that based on His truth that He wants all to come to Him.

Lord We thank you so much for Your Mercy in our lives. We are grateful for how Your compassion flows through us to each other and our students. There are days Lord when we have a difficult time enjoying our students...but You are there to pour out of us into them..and our lessons. May Your kindness prevail in our classrooms, May Your love be our center and May Your compassion be in our words and actions as we finish this year strong. We love You Lord and so grateful for all You have given us this school year. In Jesus, Name, Amen.
PS May we live with great expectation of what You are bringing next, in our Hope in Jesus and waiting expectingly for You to fill our hearts desires. ;) Amen again!

Tom, thank you for your prayers and for the prayers of all who are praying for teachers. God is great and full of wonder. God has answered our prayers and we will be moving into our new school. He has answered our prayer in this way. Please pray for our move, the students, the parents and the staff. Especially pray that God will bless our new school with abundant positive growth and fellowship.

I'm sitting here in my classroom as I type this (although I'm on my conference period so no students are present) and I am feeling completely drained. I don't think I have any more patience left. It's all gone. What is left is frustration and a lack of compassion and sympathy for my students. I feel so fed up. I'm reaching out to the community for prayer and most importantly to God for strength and patience and compassion for my students. I don't want to dread seeing them like I do right now. I want to finish the year strong and I want to be compassionate. I want to show them the same grace that is shown to me on a daily basis from our Lord. I feel ashamed because right now I just want to strangle them...
I know my other teachers here are feeling the same way so I pray for you too. Tom, the 23rd Psalm is so lovely and perfect for praying. Thank you.

I am praying for all the teachers in the community today. Lord, grant them peace and confidence and joy today and throughout this Easter season. Lord, fill us with hope.
