Earthquake
It makes me wonder sometimes, hearing things like Japan having the largest earthquake in recorded history if the words of Jesus are very much coming true. We don't know when he will return, but it makes me think we should be more ready than ever. Blessings!
John

Luk 21:9 And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once."
Luk 21:10 Then he said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
Luk 21:11 There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
Luk 21:12 But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name's sake.
Luk 21:13 This will be your opportunity to bear witness.

Good point John and this makes me more eager to pray for people because in a blink of an eye we could loose all our earthly possessions and are we ready to meet Jesus?

The way the bible talks about god Shaking the heavens and the earth is quite literal. Read this page well:

You can be sure that when the earth shakes, God's got something happening! Our place is on our knees in prayer for our brothers and sisters in Japan now - the season is ripe for ministering to the needs of fellow people and spreading the word of God's offer of life!
